The variable heat, pressure and supply of elements resulted in the formation of different rarer crystals in a marble/dolomite matrix. This specimen has Ruby and Phlogopite crystals.
Phlogopite is related to the more common Biotite. It has Magnesium, rather than iron in its chemical composition.
