5g Citrulline, 5g Beta-Alanine, 487.5mg Hyper-Focus Energy

BlackMarket Labs RULE Hyper Focus Pre Workout is a high-stim pre with a big nootropic angle, all about pushing your body hard while keeping your mind locked in. This isn't a simple pump product or something for newbies to use every day. It mixes solid endurance help, real focus boosters, electrolytes, and a strong multi-stim setup to give experienced users that switched-on feel from the start of your workout to the end of a long grind.

For performance, 5,000mg L-citrulline is close to the 6-8g range from studies and still a solid dose for boosting arginine levels, nitric oxide (that's the stuff that widens blood vessels), and better blood flow. You'll notice better pumps, more nutrients getting to your muscles, and easier oxygen delivery during sets. 5,000mg beta-alanine beats the usual 3.2g from research and hits the sweet spot for building up carnosine in your muscles over time. Carnosine fights off the acid buildup that causes that burning fatigue in sets lasting 1-10 minutes. This is a smart move in the formula because it gives RULE real staying power beyond just a quick buzz.

The focus side is built right too. L-tyrosine at 3,000mg is a strong dose to help make brain chemicals like dopamine during tough workouts, keeping your focus, memory, and drive up when things get intense. Alpha GPC 50% at 600mg gives about 300mg of the active stuff for choline support, which helps with brain signaling—it's decent for focus and that connected training feel, though not the full 600mg active dose seen in some strength studies. Lion’s mane mushroom powder at 800mg brings a brain-health vibe, but since it's just the powder and not a concentrated extract, think of it as extra support rather than the star performer.

BM Rule Hyper Focus by BlackMarket Labs contains 1.7mg Vitamin B6, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 5,000mg L-Citrulline — this is a real dose for pumps and blood flow, boosting nitric oxide by raising arginine better than straight arginine. It's a bit under the 6-8g from big studies, but way better than the weak 3-4g in most pre-workouts, so expect solid vasodilation (widened blood vessels) during your lifts.
  • 5,000mg Beta-Alanine — this crushes the 3.2g standard from performance studies. It's a full-on dose to build up carnosine in your muscles, which buffers acid and lets you push harder in back-to-back intense efforts.
  • 3,000mg L-Tyrosine — a solid focus booster for high-stress training. Tyrosine helps make dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, so this dose keeps your mind clear and locked in when workouts try to wear you down.
  • 600mg Alpha GPC 50% — that means about 300mg of actual alpha GPC to support choline and brain signals. It helps with sharp focus, muscle-brain connection, and that crisp feel serious users want in a nootropic pre.
  • 250mg Uridine 5'-Monophosphate — this is a cool, advanced nootropic you don't see much in pre-workouts. It works with choline and supports brain cell membranes, making the focus feel more put-together than just slamming caffeine.
  • 800mg Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder — added to amp up the hyper-focus vibe over plain stims. As a straight powder, not an extract, it's more of a helper for brain support than the main event, but it adds nice layers to the nootropic mix.
  • 487.5mg total caffeine from three spots — 350mg anhydrous for quick hits, 100mg Café Alatus™ for natural vibes, and 50mg Infinergy™ dicaffeine malate for smoother extension. This setup gives fast energy plus a longer ride, avoiding the hard crash from single-source caffeine.
  • 200mg Theobromine — like caffeine's chill cousin, it boosts alertness differently. It blocks adenosine and inhibits enzymes to stretch out energy, add mild blood flow, and keep the spike from feeling too harsh.

BM Rule Hyper Focus by BlackMarket Labs contains 1.7mg Vitamin B6, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned bodybuilders in high-volume growth phases needing sharp mind and steady output through long workouts. The 5g beta-alanine fights burn in rep-heavy sets, while 5g citrulline and stims keep pumps and intensity from dropping mid-session.
  • Advanced lifters training early who need more than a wake-up. 3g tyrosine, alpha GPC, uridine, and lion’s mane target concentration and muscle connection, making RULE great for feeling mentally on point and physically ready.
  • High-stim fans with built tolerance looking for 450mg+ caffeine. With 487.5mg from three sources plus theobromine, synephrine, Eria Jarensis, and dendrobium, it's for those who thrive on a big nervous system push.
  • Lifters doing brutal leg days, metabolic programs, or machine grinds where muscle acid limits you. The 5g beta-alanine is proven to extend capacity in that exact training style.
  • Athletes wanting nootropic focus over pure aggression. Tyrosine, alpha GPC, uridine, lion’s mane, and theanine make it brain-smart for staying dialed in during technical or volume-heavy lifts.
  • Folks tired of weak mainstream pres who want a transparent label. RULE lists everything with real doses, appealing to those who match formulas to studies, not hype.

How to Use

Start with 1 scoop to check how it hits, especially if high-stims are new. Full 2 scoops pack 487.5mg caffeine plus other energizers, so no need to max out first time. Mix 20-30 minutes pre-workout with 12-20 ounces cold water in a shaker—more water tones down taste. Shaking beats stirring for even mix with all the powders, salts, and mushroom stuff. Empty stomach? Faster, stronger kick; light meal softens it. Don't stack with energy drinks, burners, or coffee without tracking total stims. Pairs great with plain creatine and intra hydration, since those aren't maxed here. Tolerance builds, so save full dose for tough days or take breaks. Keep it sealed cool and dry for best scoop and taste.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: it's settling in, with that pre-buzz if you're used to strong stuff. Fasted? Onset might hit quicker, some feel early alertness before the gym. 10-20 minutes: caffeine climbs, and beta-alanine tingles kick in hard at 5g. 20-40 minutes: peak for focus and drive, with citrulline pumps showing as reps add up. 40-90 minutes: theobromine, natural caffeine, and Infinergy™ hold it together better than single-caffeine pres, but it varies by tolerance and if you ate. Days 1-7: energy and focus hit right away, but beta-alanine's building. Weeks 2-4: more carnosine means surviving acid in high-volume sets where burn usually stops you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in BlackMarket Labs RULE at 1 scoop and 2 scoops?

At the full 2-scoop serving, RULE delivers 487.5mg total caffeine from 350mg caffeine anhydrous, 100mg Café Alatus™, and 50mg Infinergy™ dicaffeine malate. At 1 scoop, that is half the listed amounts, or about 243.75mg total caffeine. Even the half serving is a meaningful stimulant dose for most users.

Is RULE a beginner-friendly pre-workout?

No. The full serving combines nearly 500mg caffeine with theobromine, synephrine, Eria Jarensis, and dendrobium, making it far more aggressive than standard beginner formulas. Newer users should either start with 1 scoop only or choose a lower-stim option.

What makes RULE different from a normal high-caffeine pre-workout?

Most high-stim formulas stop at caffeine plus a few trendy extras. RULE adds a serious focus stack with 3g L-tyrosine, alpha GPC, 250mg uridine, 800mg lion’s mane, and 100mg theanine, plus real performance support from 5g citrulline and 5g beta-alanine. It is designed to feel both mentally locked-in and physically effective.

Is 5g of beta-alanine a good dose?

Yes. Beta-alanine is one of the most evidence-backed ergogenic ingredients in sports nutrition, with 3.2-6.4g daily being the standard research range. RULE provides 5g, which is firmly in the effective zone for increasing muscle carnosine and supporting fatigue resistance over time.

Why does RULE use three different caffeine sources?

The idea is to create a more layered energy curve. Caffeine anhydrous hits quickly, while Café Alatus™ and Infinergy™ help sustain the stimulant effect and reduce the steep drop-off that can happen with one-source caffeine formulas.

Will RULE give me a strong pump, or is it mostly a stim product?

It is primarily a high-stim hyper-focus pre, but it still includes a meaningful pump component. The 5g L-citrulline dose supports nitric oxide production and blood flow, so most users should still notice better vascularity and muscle fullness during training.

What does the 600mg Alpha GPC 50% actually provide?

Because the raw material is standardized to 50%, 600mg yields about 300mg actual alpha GPC. That is a useful dose for cholinergic support and focus, although it is below the full 600mg active alpha GPC dose often highlighted in some power-output studies.

Can I stack RULE with a pump product?

Yes, but choose a stim-free pump formula. Since RULE already brings 487.5mg total caffeine plus multiple additional stimulants, the smartest stack is extra citrulline, glycerol, nitrates, or electrolytes without adding more caffeine or thermogenic compounds.

Should I take RULE every day or only on training days?

Most users will reserve it for training days because of the stimulant intensity. If your goal is maximizing beta-alanine saturation, consistent daily intake helps, but many users prefer getting beta-alanine from a separate standalone on off days rather than using a near-500mg caffeine pre daily.

What side effects are most likely with RULE?

The most common acute effects are beta-alanine tingles, elevated stimulation, increased sweating, and possible jitteriness in sensitive users. At the full serving, sleep disruption, rapid heart rate, or overstimulation are very possible if you are not accustomed to high-stim formulas or if you combine it with other caffeine sources.

Perfect for Pilots
Color: Gold/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
I work in aviation and got these because they have a very top gun, fresh-esque look. The glass is solid, I’ve dropped them a few times and haven’t scratched them yet (from August - March). Fits perfectly under my headset and they can slide on and off pretty easily with the headset on. I can see the G1000 perfectly, without losing any of the panel as I did with my polarized glasses. Good shades - slightly too small for my face, hence the four stars.

Just perfect.
Color: Gold Havana/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
I saw this model of Ray Bans while watching Top Gun: Maverick. Actor John Hamm (Cyclone, in the movie) sported these during the beach scene. I looked for them here in Amazon and was lucky to find them for less than $100. They fit just great, and the lenses (G-15), give a clear and high definition picture. I definitely recommend them, perfect for driving, cycling, or your next F/A-18 mission.

Almost like they used to be...
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
These are the 3rd pair of Caravans I've owned over the years. The 1st pair were chrome frames and got mangled one time when I had set them on the trunk of the car to fill-up and drove away without them. Went back after only 100 yards or so, but by then they had been clipped by another car and were toast. Kept the lenses, sent the frame back to B&L (when they were still in Rochester -- and when customer service really WAS important to the company) and they sent back a brand-new pair of black-framed beauties -- FOR FREE! This pair recently experienced a broken frame - right at the junction of the lower curved piece that holds the lens frames together. (How this happened, I have no idea. I was wearing them. Put them in my shirt pocket. Took them out, put them on, and the lens was still in my pocket!) Now, Bausch & Lomb is owned by Luxottica (in Atlanta, GA.) Not entirely friendly, I would say, especially in the tone of the service rep's voice and bluntness. And I was told my only hope of getting any kind of satisfaction was to ship the broken pair to them and after examination they would decide whether it was a manufacturing defect or a customer caused one. Believe me -- there are NO damage marks on these black frames. The frame just cracked due to what? Fatigue, I guess. If judged in my favor they'd give me a substantial discount (40%, I believe) off list price on another pair that they might have in stock at the time. Egads! Talk about leaving you feeling helpless. NONE of the frames and lenses shown were to my liking, so I opted out of that choice and decided to search Amazon for a pair to my liking. So, this brings me to the new ones -- the subject at hand. The lenses on these are advertised as being 55mm wide, which they are. However, the original Caravans were 58mm wide = a small but perceptable difference, especially in field-of-view coverage AND how they look on your face. The G15 lenses seem to be the same tint, and the color (gun metal grey) is very nice. They fit well, and are what one would expect given the name RayBan. Therefore, I recommend them. [Footnote: As for my broken 58mm black-framed pair -- I looked up repair shops on the I-net, found 2 that seemed to talk a good game, picked one (in Cincinnati) and shipped them off today to have the frame laser welded. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they'll come back in usable shape (as promised) and I will again have my Old Faithfull's back. $35 to save a no-longer-made classic pair of RayBans is worth it in my book.]

Classic Design!! But the 55mm frame is too small..
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
Really solid frame and arrived rather fast (7 days before the expected date). It included the original packaging, booklets, cloth and case (the brown one) in the original box. Was surprised that it felt quite heavy, or at least more than what Im used to, although when I wear it I can't really feel the weight. The weight also adds to the feel of it making its structure feel a little more solid that lighter sunglasses. Unfortunately, the 55mm gunmetal + green G 15 lens which I ordered, is about 6 millimetres too small at the sides for me although the lens and front frame are the right size for me and it's actually still wearable. (it's just me). I would probably get the 58mm gold + green G15 later to see if there's a big difference (shouldn't be from the measurements given). That and the fact that these are a great pair of shades with a really classic design

Iconic, but needs a few notes
Color: Gold/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 58 Millimeters
A great style, especially for those of us who don't go for the original Aviator style. But these sunglasses do need a few notes. The size on these have 58mm-diameter lenses with 15 mm between the lenses (if my decoding of the code on the side is correct. This is the largest size in this style, and even at that they are just *slightly* too small at the ears for my head. For context, the Ray Ban Wayfarer with a 50mm lens and 22m nosepiece fits perfectly. Also these, like the original Aviators, are intended to cover pretty much the entire eye socket, so if you're seeing light coming in from the side or top...they are too small for you. In other words, if you don't have a specific size head, these may not work for you and you'll be frustrated. I know it's hard to buy online since you don't get to try them on. OTOH, it's a little unethical (in my opinion) to go to a brick-and-mortar store just to try them on so you can turn around and buy them off of Amazon. DIYD and all that. Assuming the fit is acceptable, these are very well made sunglasses. They just *feel* like quality and the lenses are fantastic. There is some concern on Amazon about some Ray Bans being fakes. The pair I received are the real thing - look for the etched R-B on the left lens (not the lens with the white logo on it), the R-B logo on the nosepieces, the lenses being made of glass (not plastic) and the identifier engraved on the underside of the bridge...these are indicators that you have a genuine pair in your hands. I purchased directly from Amazon, not a "fulfilled by Amazon" purchase, so caveat emptor on that score. All in all, an outstanding pair of glasses at a good price.
