Stainless Steel Cable Protector Sleeves (4-Pack) are designed to protect the edges of your stair wood newel posts at corners and transitions from a horizontal run to an angled stair slope (rake), they prevent the cable from wearing/cutting into the wood.  the outside of your mid post cable holes.

They are also used to protect mid posts from cables rubbing around the outside of cable holes.

• Works with 1/8" and 3/16" diameter cable

Installation consists of gently tapping the sleeves into the 1/4" cable drilled holes using a hammer; this must be done before cable running.

**For angled stairs (rake) use the Cable Hole Protector Sleeve on each end**
