Description
Handwoven Silk Amulet Bag - Mountain GoatI live in the Southwest, and have always loved the petroglyphs we find in the desert mountains, and have collected books describing pictures found on the rocks. This bag was inspired by a mountain goat and other images I found in the books. Yes I really found this two sided goat as a petroglyph! 2 x 1. 75 inches. The necklace is waxed cotton cord, and is adjustable by sliding the knots along the cord to the length best for you. Shown are: front back

Yes - I really found this two-sided goat as a petroglyph!

The amulet bag was woven on a floor loom, then hand-sewn, dyed, and painted.
The final step was adding a necklace cord with beads.
Each of my amulet necklaces are made individually - so although some are similar, there are no two exactly alike.
