ABOUT THE ART

"'Almost Rapture' is the third print in our new 'Savage Sacred Young Minds' series from our exhibition by the same name at the Brooklyn Museum in 2015. The new work is a beautiful 25-color silkscreen print derived from a cropping of the Almost Rapture canvas in the exhibit."

ARTIST BIO

FAILE is a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil (b. 1975, Edmonton, CA) and Patrick Miller (b. 1976, Minneapolis, MN). Since its inception in 1999, FAILE is known for their pioneering use of wheatpasting and stenciling in the increasingly established arena of street art, and for their explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage.

During this time, FAILE adapted its signature mass culture-driven iconography to a wide array of media, from wooden boxes and window pallets to more traditional canvas, prints, sculptures, stencils, multimedia installation, and prayer wheels.

While FAILE's work is constructed from found visual imagery, and blurs the line between “high” and “low” culture, recent exhibitions demonstrate an emphasis on audience participation, a critique of consumerism, and the incorporation of religious media and architecture into their work.

Stainless Steel 3-in-1 Sponge/Brush Holder with soap dispenser for Kitchen
This is an ideal item to organize your sink areas. Perfect for kichens but also for bathroom use. I love the built in soap dispenser. The one I currently have doesn't have a dispenser. And the big liquid soap container is always falling over. Mine irack is bigger but this one is more organied. Easy to clean. stainless steel. Smaller foot print so it sits right near the faucet easily. 7.3"L x 5.3"W x 6.5"H And, it has drainage holes in the front rack to keep your sponges fresh by quickly drying. I was going to put this in one of our smaller kitchens in a guest house, but I may just snag it for my kitchen! Good value. Priced right.

Sticky wicket!!
This product arrived as described with one exception. There is a label on the front with a sheer plastic covering which mostly comes off, however the paper and adhesive remaining defy every solvent known to man!!! It has been soaked (twice) in Goo Gone, twice in rubbing alcohol, once in stainless steel cleaner and three times in Dawn power wash.....It remains.... I'd go after it with a razor blade, but I don't want to scratch the stainless.

Looks beautiful! Easy to use.
Color: Transparent Grey
This bottle looks so nice on my sink. It keeps my sponge put away. The smoky color is pretty, but I can see how much soap is left inside. Compact design takes up little room on sink.

Good soap/sponge holder alternative
Color: White
Nice upgrade to the one I already had as it saves more space and holds a good amount of soap. It looks modern and fits my clean aesthetic. It’s a plastic material so it won’t rust easily. Overall it’s a good quality and has held up great in the past few months.

Leaks and cap is broken
Color: Transparent Grey, Color: Transparent Grey
I really like the looks and the idea. It leaks since day one, and I was too lazy to return and kept coping with it. Now the cap was broken and I cannot stand anymore. That's why you are seeing this review.
