In Tacopocalypse, players engage in a high-stakes drafting game where they build and score combo plates of mutated foods. The goal is to create and sell these plates before they’re ruined or eaten. Each turn, players select a food card from their hand, and all reveal their choices simultaneously. The combo plates must consist of either all the same or all different food cards. If a card doesn’t fit, the combo plate is discarded and doesn’t score.

When two players select the same food card, everyone races to grab a condiment card. Condiments like Nuclear Hot Sauce, Chips & Dip, or the Dreaded Monstrous Chalupacabra can significantly impact scoring and gameplay. Note that there’s always one fewer condiment card than the number of players, adding a competitive edge.

After scoring their combo plates, players pass their hand to the next player and continue drafting until all hands are used. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
