Climbing Movement

This clinic is all about how we climb. Yes, climbing looks different for different people (and that’s a beautiful thing). But having certain techniques and movement skills in your toolbox are what will allow you to be as creative, flexible, and efficient as you want to be on the rock. And, of course, have more fun!

At our Climbing Movement Clinic, you'll discover a variety of climbing techniques for seamless, skillful movement while on the wall—from footwork to body positions to dynamic moves. Plus, we'll do demos and drills on the ground before getting on rock and putting your new skills to the test.

What to expect:

We’ll set up a variety of routes from approximately 5.8 - 5.10+, and try out different techniques in action. Depending on the location, we’ll climb slabs, face climbs, cracks, or even a combination of all three.

Our experienced She Moves Mountains instructors will coach you through each route and help you apply the specific movement skills that make sense for the style of the climb.
