Introducing our new collection of Zodiac Mala Beads, designed with premium crystals, available in both necklace and bracelet styles. Perfect for yourself or a holiday/birthday gift, our mediation malas are traditionally designed with 108 crystal beads (8mm), specifically chosen to balance the personality traits of each zodiac sign!

The zodiac stones chosen for the Gemini Mala (May 22—June 21) are Tiger Eye and Citrine, believed to provide strength and grounding for this often emotionally sensitive air sign, as well as enhance the highly intellectual nature of Gemini people.

Every zodiac mala is strung on heavy duty beading cord and is accented with a 1-2” clear quartz pendant which serves as a modern interpretation of the “guru bead”. In addition, a “Gemini” zodiac charms hangs on the back of the piece as a unique customization. Includes silver-tone or gold tone metal spacers, lead-free, iron-free. Choose your preference from the drop-down menu. Length: 36”.

How to Use a Mala: A "mala" is a set of mantra counting beads. A mantra is a word or statement repeated personally or aloud with sincerity, devotion, feeling and deep attention. The overall intention is to naturally allow the attention to lead to deep concentration, which in turn allows for meditation and eventually "samadhi", to acquire wholeness, or truth. This mala contains 108 beads, a number considered sacred by many Eastern religions and traditions. 108 is a number known to refer to spiritual completion, representing the whole of existence. To use the mala, begin at the guru bead, the larger bead at its base. Drape the first mala bead, the one next to the guru on your right, in between your thumb and middle finger.  Slide your thumb over the first mala bead down and move to the next. Repeat this movement for a count of 108 beads. You may focus on your breathing, moving past each bead as you take an “in breath” or an “out breath”.

Fun for Pups and You Can Hide a Treat Inside!
These chew toys are fun for my pup! He especially loves that I can hide a treat inside, which keeps him interested and entertained. They’re a nice size for small dogs and puppies, and I also like the light colors because they’re easy to spot when they end up under the sofa because somehow they always do!

Cute toys but not for tough chewers. Might be too thick for my 6 lb girl
These are fun for the right dog, but not a good choice for all. They're a good size for medium dogs and some small dogs, but "small" is relative I guess and the size of this toy won't work for all small dogs. I definitely expected these to be smaller, though I measured and they are the size shown in the listing (for those in the US it's about 2 1/4" by 4 3/4"). I think one thing that surprised me is how tall (?) they are, or maybe thick? They show two measurements in the listing but not the other. That's the one that makes a big difference with small dogs, especially really small dogs like mine. I have a 6 lb Maltese with a teeny tiny mouth so I have to find toys that she can fit her teeny mouth around. She loves toys with nubbies and has other "spiky" toys like this, but so far hasn't been too interested and I wonder if it's because it's too thick. If she doesn't give them a try we have doggy friends who are big enough for them, more the 12-16 lb size. There was a bit of smell on them when I first opened the package, but after giving them a quick wash (which I do with all chew toys like this) the smell was completely gone. Whatever it was must have just been on the outside because it hasn't come back. I can't really say how durable these are, but I doubt they'd be good for tough chewers. They're not super soft but in the world of dog chewing they're medium at best. They're very cute and if you have a medium to soft chewer they could be a great addition to the toy basket. They also have a hole down the middle which could be filled with something to lick out, another way to keep them busy. Can't say any of this makes them worth the rather high price asked though.

Good for puppies!
I work with dog fosters and we recently got a new batch of puppies. These worked great for them, especially because they want to chew on everything!

Be careful, not for strong chewers
Sad to give a 1-star review on these bones, I had such high hopes. They’re a great size and design, and my dog was excited to get one when I gave it to her… until I happened to look down at her, having just given her the toy moments before, and she had chewed off a large chunk and was trying to ingest it! Fortunately I caught this and was able to get it out of her mouth before she swallowed it. My girl loves chewing on toys like this but I guess she’s too aggressive of a chewer for these(?) though she’s NEVER chewed a piece off of a toy before. Sadly this bone, and the remaining two in the bag, went in the trash.
