The books of Ezra and Nehemiah have been neglected in Old Testament scholarship, but as Dean Ulrich demonstrates in this valuable study, new in the NSBT series, Ezra–Nehemiah as a literary unit is part of the Christian Bible that tells God’s grand story of saving activity. Now and Not Yet explores how the narrative theology of Ezra and Nehemiah shows us how to be a godly participant in God’s story, and how the moral imperatives of leadership are bound up in the larger context of God’s acts and promises: God’s redeemed community that is bigger than any individual person, and at the heart of this is mission – participation in God’s purpose for his world. Seeing these books as the record of the beginning of a new work of God among his people after the exile, Ulrich also illuminates how the theology of Ezra and Nehemiah connects to the larger biblical narrative and leads to the first coming of Jesus. Insightful and accessible, Now and Not Yet is a brilliant addition to the New Studies in Biblical Theology series. It is ideal for students, pastors and anyone looking for studies on Ezra and Nehemiah that dig deeply into their theology, particularly in relation to biblical mission. Now and Not Yet will leave you with a greater understanding of Ezra-Nehemiah as a literary unit, and how its theology is still relevant for Christians today – the new work it reveals enables God’s people to be restored in their relationship with God, through both hope in God’s promises and obedience to his instruction concerned with mission.

______________

Have read through enough of "Now And Not Yet" by Dean Ulrich and here's what I like about the book:
- While an academic book, the title is very readable.
- Covers many topics in the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah.
- Smooth transition from chapter to chapter - good flow of thought and is not choppy and disorganized.
- Like the references to common people in the two books (especially in a day and age when the Christian community focuses much on its "superstars" and not enough on the common and ordinary believers that are more representative of early and present Christianity).
- Mentioning the need for repentance (boy, don't we need this today!).
- Focus on God's mission for His people and the world.
- God restoring His people to Himself.
The book is an excellent aid for anyone wanting to learn more about the often-overlooked Books of Ezra and Nehemiah. Also, very helpful for personal, Sunday School, or sermon preparation for messages/lessons on the two books. Highly recommended. Michael Taylor

Lots of slots to power devices all at once
Style: 7-in-1 USB-C Hub
Well made, good price, outlets precision sized so cords don't droop or fall out. Overall about as a compact as it could be. Enough power to plug into iPad and power phone, hearing aid charging box , and AA battery 4 slot charger. Worth paying a little more for more slots.

Be aware of bad units being sold right now.
Style: 4-in-1 USB-C Hub
These USED to be a 5 star product from me, I've lost count how many I have purchased and included built into my products I manufacture. All of 2025 NO ISSUES at all, battle tested in the photo event industry buy some very large companies I have as clients. Come 2026 and the last two batch orders I have purchased I have had to replace 10 of them within a 2 month window, all for different customers because they stopped working in a short amount of time. Something happened in the Belkin manufacturing of these hubs in the past 3 months and I have lost my confidence in the stock that is available right now, I have moved to another HUB manufacturer for my products. I even tried calling Belkin quietly to make them aware of this issue and could not get anyone who cared that they had bad units being sold. So now it's to be very public about this issue and to let people know to be aware there ARE bad units in circulation of these hubs. ALWAYS have a backup on hand just in case! Sorry Belkin, you need to have a better process to receive feedback from other manufacturers that use your products in theirs. I hope I can regain confidence again someday.

Nice little hub - output is 40 w though so a slow charger if using it to charge a phone off of a computer.

This hubs got what I need and drives seem to mount right away.
Style: 5-in-1 USB-C Hub
Might be a little early to write this review. But, I feel like I keep buying these types of hubs and they never seem to have the right configuration for what I need. Two USB-Cs, Two USBs and an HDMI. Appreciate that the ports are all on the same side so I don't have a spider web of cables going in every direction. They all fit rather snugly. MOST IMPORTANTLY, every external drive and flash drive seems to mount right away. I have had major frustrations over the years with external drives not mounting or taking forever to mount. I'm sure most of this is due to the failing drives themselves, but I have a sneaking suspicion the hubs are playing a role too, but I don't have the electrical engineering degree to prove it. Anyway, so far so good with this one.

Work as expected
Style: 4-in-1 USB-C Hub
Work as expected. Plug and play. For a USB-C hub, worth the price. Had no compatibility issues with my PC and a laptop. Haven't noticed any heat issues.
