A fully redesigned frame and spool show off the cutting-edge manufacturing techniques Ross Reels has developed, delivering a design that is incredibly strong and genuinely beautiful. The Animas runs an ultra-light canvas phenolic handle that gets tackier when wet, and a maintenance-free spool release that keeps the reel ready for any fresh or saltwater outing.
The frame is accented by a machined silhouette of the Colorado mountains in Ross Reels' backyard, the same range we look at every morning. Its uniquely ported design and structural profile are industry firsts. The two-tone drag knob carries an updated aesthetic with a lower profile and increased grip.
