Bois Dores opens soft with clean and fresh notes of iris and juniper berries, the opening is moderate to low projection, the fragrance feels very soft, evocative of a fine iris air freshener. A moment after the opening, the cypress adds a soft woody and green note; almost immediately, the myrrh adds a soft resinous, slightly fruity accord; the patchouli, if it is there, it is almost unnoticeable. I've used it post microneedling and it is the only thing that soothes, hydrates, and doesn't sting raw, red skin. Great for rashes/hives and allergic reactions too. Luckily a thin layer is often enough to do the trick. so it lasts a long time I wouldn't use for everyday moisture, but when your skin is angry, this stuff works. (Overpriced? Yes. Witchcraft? Maybe. Does it work? Yep.)
