The pump casting for 1968-1972 AMC and Jeeps was DISCONTINUED due to low volume. We still manufacture the CNC machined billet impeller designed with an increased vane count and a reduced impeller clearance to achieve greater flow rates, higher block pressure. A Type II Class II military grade anodize surface coating protects against corrosive fluids.
We developed this hi flow pump peller because Jeeps tend to overheating in traffic and on the trail. Tight engine space and limited airflow plague the cooling system but it has been proven time and time again that reducing the cycle time between the heat source and the heat sink drops engine temperatures for slow speed rock crawling and stop and go traffic.
