He’s on Thin Ice is the first piece in my Nordic Collection. I made the deliberate choice to stop this painting earlier than usual—the simplicity and soft texture felt complete and balanced without being pushed further.
The surface is built with white oil paint and minimal texture, allowing faint gray and beige tones to show through from beneath. The palette stays quiet and neutral, with warm beige edges that frame the piece subtly. I focused on this thin, layered application to allow the light to move through the pigments, creating a soft, internal glow that reflects the quiet energy of the collection.
The painting arrives ready to hang with attached hardware and is signed on the back. It ships from my studio with complimentary worldwide delivery. Final sale.
