Banks Power's solution is the Big Head Wastegate Actuator, available in many of their kits, this actuator is designed for higher boost levels which allows your turbocharger to come up to peak boost more quickly and allows the boost level to be maintained.Designed to keep your turbo working to it's full potential, the BigHead Wastegate Actuator from Banks Power doubles the diaphragm area and spring pressure of your stock part. By keeping the valve sealed longer, BigHead allows you to achieve a higher peak boost, sooner. At peak, your Bighead will open the wastegate and hold the position for precise boost control. All this means crisp acceleration and more mid-range power.
IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES:
It is important to know the difference between model years of the 7.3L PowerStroke's which fall into three categories: 1999; early 1999 1/2; late 1999 1/2. To check your specific model year find the build date tag inside the driver-side door and match below.
1999 model year--built prior to 1/99; with catalytic converter
Early 1999-1/2 model year--built prior to 1/99; no catalytic converter (intake manifold has 2" diameter inlets)
Late 1999-1/2 model year--built on or after 1/99; no catalytic converter (intake manifold has 3" diameter inlets)

Direct Fit and good quality

For anyone that has owned an E46 knows that even the stock kidney grills are brittle plastic. This aftermarket is about the same quality as stock. It is a direct fit and has the clips where they are supposed to be to keep them in place. The look is also pretty nice. This one is all black and actually looks nice on my black E46. I would recommend especially for the price and shipping was fast.
