The Suicide Prevention Mattress Cover is purpose-built for demanding institutional environments, this mattress cover provides a secure, tamper-resistant solution for behavioral health, correctional, psychiatric, residential, and acute-care facilities. Constructed from ultra-durable, tear-resistant fabric, it safeguards both the mattress and the individual using it.
The specialized 5-layer system features a quilted flame-resistant aramid fabric with a ballistic nylon core, delivering exceptional strength and long-term performance. Reinforced seams — stitched with heavy-duty 45 lb bonded nylon thread and locked 12 times per inch — enhance resistance against aggressive use while maintaining a ligature-preventive finish.
Rounded corners and tamper-evident seams help eliminate hard edges and accessible points, supporting safety protocols and reducing risk in sensitive environments. Designed for continuous daily use, the mattress cover remains comfortable and warm while meeting the highest safety expectations.
