Power Your Entire Makita LXT Cordless System
Build or expand your professional cordless tool system with the Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Battery and Charger Starter Pack (BL1840BSC2). This kit is the perfect starting point, providing the essential power for Makita's expansive lineup of over 325 LXT cordless tools. It's the most cost-effective way to start building your kit, especially when purchasing "bare tools" (tool only) and 18V X2 LXT® tools that run on two batteries for 36V power.
The two included 18V LXT® 4.0Ah batteries (BL1840B) give you up to 35% more run time per charge compared to 3.0Ah batteries, minimizing downtime. Each battery features an integrated L.E.D. charge level indicator and delivers consistent power and run time, even in extreme winter temperatures (-4°F/-20°C). The Standard Charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage, and temperature. This system, combined with Star Protection Computer Controls™, protects your batteries from overloading, over-discharging, and overheating, ensuring maximum life and performance.
