The highest-grade herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits from around the globe are crafted into four distinct macerates, which are then combined in modern-day alchemy. Every drop of Jägermeister comes from one of the 445 Oak barrels that live in the factory cellar, where the macerates are left to blend and mature for up to a year until they become liquid German perfection. The full ingredient list remains a closely guarded secret, but raise a glass and you will taste all four corners of the world.

Tasting Notes
The sweet aroma comes from star anise, cinnamon, and liquorice root. The fruity tartness is marmalade-like, derived from bitter orange, orange peel, and chiretta. There is a spicy, earthy finish from the ginger and galangal, which packs a citrus punch. Herbs like cloves, mace, and cardamom unify the floral and citric notes with a nutmeg spice.
