This poetic drama by Edward Albee (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) unfolds in an elegant sitting room where a famous man lies dying behind a hospital screen.
As reporters and television crews wait anxiously for news of his passing, family members and close friends gather nearby, reflecting on his life—and confronting the truths, regrets, and unresolved emotions within their own.
Directed by John Edwards, this filmed stage adaptation features a distinguished cast including Myra Carter, William Prince, Anne Shropshire, Ann Lynn, David J. Skai, David Petersen, John J. Desmond, Margaret Thomson, Paul Weidner, and Pirie MacDonald.
A quietly powerful meditation on fame, mortality, and human connection, the production captures Albee’s lyrical dialogue and emotional depth.
