This algae also provides krill with a robust source of the antioxidant astaxanthin, which is responsible for its distinct red colour.
Krill oil has a unique molecular structure as the omega-3 fatty acids are incorporated into phospholipids whereas in fish oil the omega-3 fatty acids are mostly present as triglycerides.
Nature’s Own Ultra Krill Oil 1000mg is a 1 a day dose containing a complex phospholipid composition which is linked to Omega-3 fatty acids.
