Fitting and handling
Allow panels to acclimatise in the installation room for at least 48 hours before fixing, keeping them flat and away from direct heat sources or damp walls. Panels can be fixed directly to a flat, dry wall surface using a suitable grab adhesive, or screw-fixed through a timber batten framework for a more secure finish. Store flat, fully supported, and in dry conditions if not fitting immediately.
FAQ
How many panels do I need to cover a standard wall?
Each panel covers approximately 1.45 square metres. Measure your wall area in square metres and divide by 1.45, then add 10 percent for waste and trimming. For example, a wall 3 metres wide by 2.4 metres tall would need roughly 5 panels.
Are these panels suitable for a bathroom or kitchen?
No. The MDF core and wood veneer face are not moisture-resistant, so these panels are intended for dry interior use only. Fitting them in areas with high humidity risks swelling, delamination, and damage to the veneer.
Can the panels be cut to size on site?
Yes. The panels can be trimmed using a fine-toothed saw or a circular saw fitted with a sharp blade. Score the veneer face before cutting to reduce breakout, and always cut with the face side up when using a hand saw, or face side down with a power saw.
