Tackle the Toughest Timber with Diablo’s High-Performance Dura-Tip Auger Bits
The Diablo DAG1900-S3 3-Piece Auger Bit Set is engineered for maximum performance and extreme durability in the most demanding wood-drilling environments. Designed specifically to power through nail-embedded wood, these bits feature a specialized two-step cutting action that produces exceptionally precise and clean holes. Whether you are running electrical conduit through framing or installing structural bolts, the self-feeding Dura-Tip™ actively pulls the bit through the material, while the dual cutting edges deliver an effortless, smooth drilling experience. This professional-grade set provides the industrial strength needed for heavy-duty construction and renovation projects.
Beyond raw power, the DAG1900-S3 set is optimized for modern tool efficiency. Each bit is designed with deep flutes that enhance the chip evacuation process, allowing your drill to clear waste material faster and providing more holes per battery charge on cordless tools. The 7/16-inch hex quick-change shank provides superior stability and prevents slippage in both cordless and corded impact wrenches or high-torque drill drivers. Built from premium high-speed steel and manufactured in Switzerland, these bits offer a superior lifespan and unmatched reliability for contractors who cannot afford downtime on the job site.

Pro-Tip: To ensure the longest life when drilling through nail-embedded wood, let the self-feeding Dura-Tip do the work. Avoid leaning too heavily on the drill; the bit is designed to pull itself through. Maintaining a steady, moderate speed rather than maxing out your RPM will help keep the cutting edges cool and prevent heat-tempering the high-speed steel.
