Description
The Audio-Technica AT617a is a popular and effective accessory for vinyl enthusiasts, designed to keep turntable styli clean for optimal sound quality and to extend the stylus life.
Key Features
-
Tacky Polyurethane Gel: The surface is specially engineered to be just sticky enough to grab stubborn debris without leaving any residue on your stylus.
-
Gentle & Non-Invasive: Simply lower the stylus onto the gel and lift it back up. The dirt stays in the gel, and your stylus remains pristine.
-
Washable & Reusable: If the gel surface becomes dirty, simply rinse it under lukewarm water and let it air dry. It will regain its original tackiness, making this a one-time investment for years of use.
-
Safety First: Eliminates the risk of "wicking" associated with liquid cleaners, protecting the delicate adhesive and dampers inside your cartridge.
-
Crystal Clear Container: Comes in a durable, low-profile protective case that fits easily on your turntable plinth for quick access between records.
