This gearbox allows you to retain the factory steering shaft, as well as the stock pitman arm. This is a major advantage, especially for those with lifted trucks with dropped pitman arms, you will not have to change your pitman arm.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• You have the option for us to include a pre-paid return label with the shipment for ease of returning your core. With this option, you will merely need to drop the re-packaged core with the accompanying shipping label at a FedEx drop-off. Otherwise, it will be your responsibility to supply your means of returning the core. Pre-paid return label option is only applicable to the lower 48 contiguous United States. Please contact us if you have any questions. Cores with broken shafts or cases will receive partial or no core refund.
• IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING ELECTRONICS: 2015 IS A SPLIT YEAR. YOU WILL NEED TO VISUALLY CONFIRM YOUR BOX HAS ELECTRONICS. If your truck is in 2015, you may have electronics, but you may not. Thus far we have not been able to determine a good, 100% correct way to confirm this other than to check the box you have on your truck. Please do not go by the build date, the ONLY way to be 100% sure is to put eyes on the box you have on the truck currently. If your steering box has an electronic plug connected to it, the listing for PN: RH-2875, which is the listing you are looking at, is correct. (See pictures for plug reference) If the box on your truck does NOT have an electronic plug coming out, you will need PN: RH-2874. If you have questions on any of this, please do not hesitate to call our sales techs.
• You will need to transfer your electronics from your old box to the Red Head Steering box.
  
• Refundable core charge will be reduced if the core has damage to the electronic module sealing surface.
