Enhance your culinary experience with our thoughtfully curated knife set options, featuring the Nakiri 6.5" (165mm) and Petty 5.3" (135mm). Choose between the set with no Saya cover for a more minimalist approach, or opt for the version with Magnolia Sayas for added protection and elegance.

Our Yoshihiro SLD Stainless Clad Knives are meticulously crafted with two layers of stainless steel, offering exceptional durability and protection while maintaining a sharp cutting edge. The high-performance SLD steel represents the new generation of materials engineered in Japan, designed to exceed the capabilities of traditional metals. With remarkable wear resistance and a hardness level that rivals carbon steel, SLD delivers a perfect balance of stain resistance and cutting performance. This advanced metallurgy results in knives that provide excellent sharpness, long edge retention, and stainless durability.

The Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife that has become a new essential companion to the popular chef's knife. Resembling a small cleaver, the Nakiri excels at chopping through root vegetables and can effortlessly slice delicate tomatoes. Whether you're prepping greens for a salad or chopping vegetables for a main dish, this handcrafted knife elevates even the simplest tasks, showcasing both beauty and functionality.

The Petty knife serves as a versatile utility tool, larger than a paring knife but smaller than a chef's knife. It fits seamlessly into tight spaces that require dexterity, while still handling tasks that require more strength than a paring knife can manage. The Petty will quickly become your go-to knife in the kitchen, perfect for a variety of culinary tasks.

Preparing delicious meals starts with wholesome ingredients and the best tools. With this high-quality knife set, you'll transform your cooking experience. From dicing, slicing, and chopping fresh produce from the farmer's market to carving a roast chicken straight from the oven, each handcrafted knife is designed to elevate your cooking, merging beauty with functionality.

If you want to be super productive then start here
Format: Paperback
I have been coding and implementing productivity processes for thirty years and I still found "The Art of Clean Code" engaging and valuable. I've done almost everything in the book, yet like many who have been in the field for a while, the refresher was timely. My work now is vastly different from my work in the '90's, and even what I was doing in the '80's. While the book uses Python examples the code is easy to read and applicable anywhere. Most of the guidelines given even benefit daily life, not just coding. Highly recommended!

Unimpressive
Format: Paperback
This book is very much part of hustle culture. Each chapter contains a shallow dip into a programming principle followed by a metaphorical application of the principle to your career. "10x your income by maximizing your productivity and earning while you learn through a Python side hustle! Here is one anecdotal example of someone who got rich after two months! Sign up for my course and you can do it too!" I don't doubt Dr. Mayer's own expertise, but this is not really a book about coding; it's a book about hustling, and its main purpose seems to be to sell Dr. Mayer's course. What disappoints me is that this book seems to be offered in bad faith. Dr. Mayer may be a true believer, but he probably knows that the vast majority of side hustlers won't make much money, and he probably knows the the tech bro culture around programming is a separate thing from software design per se. I'm equally disappointed in No Starch. I have loved their books up till now; they let us down with this one.

Not only a book about coding, excellent philosophy of life
Format: Paperback
Basically a guide for software engineers of all skill levels on best practices in coding and how to maximize success in your professional life. Straight to the point with great examples. I’ve been a professional engineer for over 10 years and worked at top companies and I wish I read it sooner. This is a must read for anyone wanting to level up.
