Growing Bravado Echinacea Garden Seeds

  • Taxonomy: Echinacea purpurea
  • Other Names: Purple Coneflower, Eastern Purple Coneflower, Hedgehog Coneflower
  • Seed Type: Perennial
  • Sow Indoors or Outdoors: Bravado echinacea seeds can be sown directly after the frost but, for earliest spring blooming, begin indoors 6 – 8 weeks prior. Echinacea seeds will germinate between 7 – 21 days with full light and harden off if transplanting outside or to an indoor planter with full sun. Plants are known to easily reseed themselves.
  • Days to Maturity: 70 – 84 days
  • Hardiness Zone: 3 – 8
  • Planting Depth: Plant 2 – 3 seeds ¼” deep
  • Plant Spacing: 24”
  • Growth Habit: 36 – 48” tall bushy shrub with an 18 – 24” wide spread of well-branched 4 – 5” blooms
  • Soil Preference: Average, loamy, well-drained
  • Light Preference: Full sun
  • Diseases/Pests/Troubleshooting: Bravado echinacea is an adaptable plant known to be tolerant of drought, heat, humidity, and poor soils. Do not overwater echinacea since plants are occasionally susceptible to leaf spots caused by bacteria and fungi in over-saturated soil. Echinacea is lightly susceptible to yellow asters disease. Known to bloom continuously without need to deadhead. Bravado echinacea has no serious pests but monitor regularly for Japanese beetles.
  • Color: Soft rosy pink “daisy-like” petals and an orange-spiked cone center

Echinacea purpurea is native to the Ozark Mountain region and found all throughout the Mississippi and Ohio Valleys. Native Americans were the first to use echinacea to treat burns, wounds, toothaches, and several other internal applications. Presently, echinacea is most commonly brewed as a tea to treat cold symptoms and synthesized echinacea is widespread in the pharmaceutical industry to bolster weak immune systems. The genus Echinacea is translated from the Greek word echinos meaning “hedgehog” or “sea-urchin” in reference to the spiny cone on many flowers in the genus.

Convenient and Cost-Effective Air Filter Set for Gasoline Engine
Size: CRV (2023-2025) 1.5L Gas, Size: CRV (2023-2025) 1.5L Gas
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The set includes both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter, which I find extremely convenient because both usually need replacing around the same time—especially if you drive in dusty environments or have seasonal allergies. Ease of installation: I replaced both filters myself in under 20 minutes using just basic tools. No instructions are included, but a quick search online brought up several helpful videos tailored to my car model. Both filters fit perfectly without any force or trimming needed, which isn’t always the case with aftermarket brands. Functionality: From past experience, replacing the engine air filter regularly (every 12,000 to 15,000 miles as suggested in the owner’s manual) helps maintain better fuel efficiency and extends engine life by keeping debris out of the combustion chamber. After swapping in the new filter, I noticed the engine ran slightly smoother—especially on acceleration. Smell: The cabin air filter is equally important, particularly for passengers with allergies or sensitivity to airborne particles. I could immediately tell the airflow from the vents was stronger and fresher-smelling after the replacement, which suggests the old filter was overdue. Value for money: The ITESIER Cabin and Engine Air Filter combo pack is a smart buy for anyone maintaining a gasoline-powered vehicle like my Honda Civic. This combo pack offers good value for money compared to buying each filter separately. Quality: Overall, if you’re comfortable with basic DIY car maintenance, this kit is a great choice. It’s affordable, fits properly, and provides an easy way to knock out two important maintenance tasks in one go. Filter quality: The filters are high quality. They work without problems. Just be aware that this is designed only for gasoline engines—it won’t be compatible with diesel or hybrid powertrains.

Exactly what I needed
Size: CRV (2023-2025) 1.5L Gas
I'm not sure how much there is to say about an automotive cabin air filter. I double-checked the specs to make sure this was compatible with my car, ordered the filter, then installed it. It fit, it didn't have a weird smell, I haven't thought about it since. That's exactly what I want in an air filter. Five stars!

Worked perfect for my Jeep Grand Cherokee L
Pleasantly surprised with the quality. It seemed better than the original filter that I took out of my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Seems like it’ll last a while and I really like the charcoal addition. Has worked well so far and car smells clean.

Quality filter
Nice filter, fits perfect in the WL model (not the WK!) I will buy this one again, far superior to the OEM filter from the dealer!
