Seen 12"X12" Open Edition Canvas ArtShes afraid of being visible Shes afraid to leave her house Because when she is seen The creeps and critics pounce They see something they want They see something they hate They see something theyre lacking They see something to debate It is peoples messed up emotions That she doesnt want to handle Shes more peaceful being unknown Where she is free from scandal Some days shes tired Of playing in the shadows Other days shes relieved That its just her
She’s afraid of being visible
She’s afraid to leave her house
Because when she is seen
The creeps and critics pounce
They see something they want
They see something they hate
They see something they’re lacking
They see something to debate
It is people’s messed up emotions
That she doesn’t want to handle
She’s more peaceful being unknown
Where she is free from scandal
Some days she’s tired
Of playing in the shadows
Other days she’s relieved
That it’s just her and her piano
