Individually and painstakingly carved from solid quality ebony and boxwood, these pieces are a diminutive Staunton set of chessmen making a monumentally bold statement. The detailing of the finial on the 2.36-inch king and the facial expressions on the knights are as detailed as any of the larger sets of pieces available. As you would expect from a luxury set of chessmen, this set enjoys two additional queens for promotion.
