Whether you're a fly-fishing guide or an angler looking for exceptional capacity, durability, and convenience, the Orvis Guide Sling Pack provides a multifunctional, 100% recycled CORDURA® re/cor™ platform designed to store and organize, offering easy, intuitive accessibility. With 18 liters of capacity and innovative new features, the Guide Sling can carry multiple large fly boxes, packable rain gear, water, and all the tools and accessories needed for a full day or even days on the water.

New features include the patented Tippet Whippet recessed docking station with tippet bar included for instant, fixed, and fumble-free access for up to six spools. Integrated net storage stores stows the net handle securely between the pack and the body for instant access. Large main body storage pocket has an internal stretch mesh stash spot and zippered pocket with key fob. Smaller main body zippered pocket with internal zip pocket and organizational drop pockets for smaller items. Front strap zippered pocket with hide-behind forceps stash, zinger docking station, fly patch, and rear D-ring.

Other features include an adjustable sternum strap, zinger/nipper pass-through, easy-swing handle, water bottle pocket with elastic retainer, and ridged back panel for increased structural integrity and air flow. Left shoulder design frees up casting arm and shoulder. Weight: 800g/1.76 lbs.

Shell: 100% recycled CORDURA re/cor 600 denier polyester with strategic TPU coating. Liner: 100% recycled 200 denier polyester. Spot clean. Imported.

Do NOT buy this used. It's only because I had leftover parts and previous knowledge that I was able to assemble this. On to product. Super lightweight, easy assembly, looks pretty clean up close and from a distance. Panels stay on bars via velcro. This is not a sturdy screen, so it's not for a kid's room. But if you want a room divider that has no other job than to divide with quiet dignity, it works.

Practice makes perfect
These are actually three separately assembled screens that link together once ready, so I could gauge the improvement in my capability as a screen-assembling artisan. I’m 71 so getting down on the floor wasn’t all that easy. The first screen took 90 minutes as I tried to decipher the typically less than ideal pictorial directions, and to figure out how to position everything (including myself) working in a fairly small space. But by the third assembly I was a skilled craftsman and assembled it in 15 minutes. They look nice and do what I had hoped. All the parts were there, well-labeled, and the threading on the screw mountings were adequate although one required a bit more cajoling than the rest and worried me a bit until I finally got it right.
