A superb example the 1937 George VI proof Specimen half sovereign. Being of very high grade NGC PF67, just 2 examples grade above this with NGC. With so few in these grades they are very seldom seen for sale with new price highs being achieved with every sale.
The plain edge Proof gold half sovereigns were produced to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI on the 12th of May 1937 as part of 4 coin gold Proof sets, with a mintage of 5,501 pieces, they were technically patterns as they did not have a milled edge like earlier gold Five Pounds of other reigns.

Good read…
Format: Kindle
I liked the book. But, I didn’t like the romance aspect of it. Felt somewhat forced. The last 10% or so was a slog to get through. I don’t like feeling like you can’t wait for something to be over. I would have skipped but it was the last chapters of the book and it felt a bit lazy; it wasn’t as if I didn’t want to know what happened… I can’t explain it. I’m not at all sure I’ll continue the series. Do I recommend it? Yeah, I guess I do. It’s not a bad book and I’m sure a lot of people would really like it. I liked it too, just not at the end.
