The color is beautiful amber gold. I’ve been using Valvoline oil for 48 years. I’ve been a mechanic for 48 years and if you take apart an engine that has been using it , it is clean inside. If you take apart an engine that has been using a different brand they have a tar like build up in them. Like the old commercial use to say mechanics that know use only valvoline oil.
