• Copy of the Larkin & Smith 18th Century Bonnet Pattern with instructions for sewing your bonnet in a period manner, and documentation card.

Bonnets were popular for much of the 18th century. Black silk was by far the most common but other colors such as blue, white, pink, green and lavender were sometimes seen. The shape and style of this bonnet makes it well suited for 1760s/1770s/1780s era costumes and living history/reenactment events. Appropriate for all impressions from working class to upper and middling classes.
