Story

I Stegyawden, a Tsimshian Indian name meaning ‘painted goat,’ is a mountain on the Skeena River near Hazelton, British Columbia. The mighty Skeena itself is known to its first travellers, the Tsimshian Indians, as K’sian, meaning ‘juice from the clouds’.

Many stories and legends are told of Stegyawden and K’sian. One in particular refers to the legendary village of Temleham, located at the base of Stegyawden on the banks of K’sian. Its people were so powerful and influential, and the surroundings were so majestic, spiritual, and beautiful that the village of Temleham became known to all Indian Nations as a significant and proper place to meet. Chiefs from all West Coast Indian Nations would travel many perilous miles to congregate at Temleham.

Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, Bella Coola, Kwakiult, and Nuu Cha Nulth - all would attend. Many elaborate and impressive feasts were held. Friendships and alliances developed, and differences were settled.

Temleham was appropriate. It was the location the ancients had chosen and created to serve as a place of peace for all nations.

In the swirling mists of the mighty K’sian, one can, even today, sense the presence of those wise chiefs. Their spirit and wisdom live on, and their beautiful West Coast of Canada remains a majestic and spiritual meeting place, a proper setting for A Meeting of Chiefs.

Excellent Suit for the Money. Great, rich details.
Size: X-Large, Color: Black
This is a stunning piece of clothing. The material for the vests and pants are so luxurious and make it look like you spent a lot of money. Great versatility and thick material of great quality. The material is made of a rich fabric that feels subtle and gentle, but with the patterns showing well. It fits well and allows for movement. Whether you are looking for a wedding suit, or something to wear to a gala or bow-tie event, this is it.

Buy the suit. Be sure to measure!
Size: Large, Color: Red, Size: Large, Color: Red
Suit looks better than the photo in person. The suit is also made well. Great fabric and pattern! My son is 6'1 and weighs around 135-140 pounds. I ordered a size large for him so the pants would be long enough. The pants were a little big but it was nothing a belt could not fix. The jacket and vest fit well too. The item also arrived on time. ***Suit runs small BUT if you take out time to do the measurements you will get the correct size.***

Fits like a glove, looks like a million!
Size: Small, Color: Purple
Bought this as a gift for him and very impressed. Looks like a million dollars, fit true to size, looks tailored not cheap. Fabric is quality, stitching is done well and the pants have a nice hidden elastic extender that helps if he goes up or down a few pounds. Very impressed!
