Works perfectly. I have had this for a month and as long as you have a magsafe case on your phone, the phone stays on and charges. At night if you place it on the charger in the landscape position it can work as a clock and/or outside temp. It is not flimsy. So many I saw required that you buy a magsafe charger to slip in the stand first, this one already has one so you just place your phone on the stand to charge. Worth the cost, would buy again.

Generally, I like this charger. It feels solid, it's pretty easy to put my phone on, it charges pretty well, it supports rotating the phone when that makes it easier to read. On the other hand, it's not as fast as a direct USB-C connection and there's no height or angle adjustments.
