The QuikSpot provides an adjustable beam angle of 13 to 60° that can be further controlled by the optional barndoors. It is the ideal choice for those who need a powerful battery-powered fixture that can operate for up 4.5 hours at 100% brightness. Configuration and charging is simplified by the separately available PrepBox and Charging Plate. The QuikSpot supports app, DMX, or CRMX control and features a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96 to ensure color accuracy. This IP65 water-resistant fixture comes with a removable yoke.

Optical Design
Use the QuikSpot as a hard spotlight or as a flood/wide angle coverage lighting solution. By simply turning the local barrel, the fixture can project a beam from 13 to 60°. The QuikTurn conveniently stops at 30° to indicate the middle of the zoom range. Users can also place optional AX5 filters to shape its beam or attach separately available 360° SafetyLink barndoors for further control the output.
Battery-Driven
The fixture has an integrated battery, which can run the fixture for up to 20 hours depending of your settings, while requiring up to five hours to charge. The battery lasts for 4.5 hours in 100% brightness when OutputGain is activated. The separately available Charging Plate is able to charge the batteries of up to eight QuikSpot units simultaneously.
Multiple Control Methods
The QuikSpot features onboard controls to offer swift adjustments over brightness, HSI, and colors. The light is also controllable via wired or wireless DMX/RDM as well as via the AsteraApp. The fixture has 5-pin XLR in/out sockets for wired DMX connection. For wireless DMX, the QuikSpot is compatible with LumenRadio with optional lighting consoles and controllers. The CRMX/UHF wireless range is up to 984' and the Bluetooth up to 9.8'. The separately available PrepBox facilitates configuration when assigning profiles or DMX addresses. Another option is the use of the optional White and FX remotes for quick setting adjustments such as colors, effects, and dimming when the PrepBox is not available.
Mounting Options
Different rigging options are available to place the light on the floor or in the truss. Use the included detachable yoke or tilt the unit with its integrated Kickstand. The yoke also features two foldable feet and comes with an airline track. The unit is also compatible with the optional TrackPin Compact rigging accessory and with third-party super clamps.

I really like it

This thing is pretty cool. It's small, rechargeable, and it works in a weird way but very well. When I first tried it I thought it was broken and I ran it around a few times and it never cut the can where you see them cut with a normal can opener. I then realized that the whole top of the can lifts off! I've never seen that before. I actually really like it. So far I've only charged it once, but I don't use cans on a consistent basis so the charge will probably last forever. I just have to remember to plug it in occasionally so it's not dead one day when I really need it! The only reason it didn't get five stars is because the button is a little bit sensitive. If you're not careful sticking it in the drawer that button can press itself easy and then it will just run continuously.

Mixed results using this auto can opener...

I had high hopes for this can opener, but was let down. This can opener failed me half of the times I tried to use it. For some reason it wouldn't cut through the paper surrounding the cans. I tried it on small, medium and large cans. It worked best on larger cans. I got it because I liked the idea of opening cans without having to contend with the sharp lids that inevitably fall back into the opened cans. It is unsanitary at best and a safety hazard at worst. On the plus side it is rechargeable, so no battery worries there. It fits nicely in the hand for ease of use. It appears to be of sturdy construction, so it's a high quality item. And being small it will store easily. The price is right and it represents a good value for your hard earned dollars.
