If your transmission has failed, or you want a little head room to make a bit more power, SunCoast ensures that every aspect of the Guardian HD transmission line is strategically engineered and designed around functionality, reliability and strength in the light, medium and heavy-duty towing applications. The Guardian HD series is built to perform tough jobs, day in and day out, and the design is focused for use in heavy duty industrial, or commercial operations.Some of the key features that SunCoast's 68RFE Guardian line of heavy-duty transmissions feature are SunCoast's billet Pro-Loc Ducenti valve body, upgraded zero-cavitation filter kit, increased clutch count for overdrive, and upgraded billet multi-disc Guardian torque converter. This gives you strength, longevity and reliabilty.
Included is the SunCoast Guardian Series Multi Disk Billet Torque Converter. It's designed to
fit all 68RFE transmissions and can handle all your daily driving duties.
Whether you are towing a camper or hauling dirt to a job site, this
torque converter is engineered to enhance vehicle response and provide
you with years of reliable performance. It comes with furnace-brazed
fins and hardened turbine splines and the clutches in this converter
are made of carbon-graphitic material for precise and accurate lock-up.
SunCoast's 68RFE transmissions are designed and developed with intentions of taking a systematic approach to solving the issues with the 68RFE transmission. They attack each deficiency and end user need from a scientific method.

-after less than a year the mouth of the shoe widened to a point where they slide off way too easy rendering them almost unwearable.
