Use a steering wheel interface module to retain the function of select factory controls (Please see the compatibility notes section for further details).

- Compatibility:
- 2011 Jetta: Does not currently provide a reverse output trigger
- 2010+ Vehicles: The C2R-VW2 does not retain the digital amplifier in Dynaudio systems
- 2012+ Vehicles: The C2R-VW2 does not retain the digital amplifier in Fender systems
- 2002-2005 Vehicles: In these year vehicles the C2R-VW2 does not provide a Reverse output trigger. This signal is unavailable on the data bus. You must be replacing a factory Double-DIN radio. If the vehicle came equipped with a Single-DIN radio, the C2R-VW2 is not compatible.
- 2004-2007 Touareg: Does not retain digital audio amplified system seen when the vehicles is equipped with factory navigation radio
- Steering Wheel Control Notes:
- We strongly recommend that vehicles equipped with SWC use the RP4-VW11
- 2002-2005 vehicles (excludes Touareg): Can only program volume up & down.
- 2006-2010 vehicles with Eight button SWC (excludes Touareg)
- Can program volume up & down, phone button and star button without effecting Multi-Function Display (MFD).
- Arrow up & down can be programmed but will control MFD.
- 2009-2010 vehicles with 12 button SWC (excludes Touareg)
- Can program left hand side of steering wheel volume up & down, track left & right, phone and mute buttons without effecting MFD.
- Arrow up & down on right side can be programmed but will control MFD.
- 2004-2010 Touareg: Can only program volume up & down

Surprisingly Accessible for All Ages
This is an excellent introduction to coding concepts. The book is beautifully laid out with clear, step-by-step instructions and helpful diagrams that make complex ideas easy to understand.
The highest praise I can give is that I've been reading it side-by-side with my 5-year-old, and the visuals and explanations are simple enough for her to grasp the basic concepts. It sparks great conversations about how technology works.
It's a fantastic resource not just for adult beginners, but also for parents looking to introduce computational thinking to young children in a fun, engaging way. Highly recommended for visual learners and family learning.

Slightly disappointed
I’m already familiar with most of the languages in this book, but I figured it would be fun to do some of the projects they had inside. I was disappointed to find out when I received it, that the first two images on the product listing are not from this book. I was looking forward to building a password generator which it does not have in here. Also, the ‘build a game’ page for Scratch is different too. You still build a game but not what you expect from what is shown on Amazon.
Still worth picking up if you want to learn to code or teach your kids.

Must Have For Beginner Coders
I am just starting out learning the concepts of coding, because I would like to start making my own video games as a hobby. I have purchased other "how-to" guides for beginners, which ended up being very confusing and required a more intermediate level of knowledge with coding. I am very happy with this book, as it provides straightforward and easy to understand lessons in four different coding languages, along with access to a free-to-use coding program so you can practice each lesson step-by-step in real time. The book is very colorful and laid out well with lots of pictures to illustrate each step in the process. I highly recommend this book for people like me, who are just starting out with coding and want to grasp the fundamentals before jumping into the deep end.
