They're perfect for transoms, angled hulls, or curved surfaces where round fenders tend to roll out of place. Their flat shape provides more surface contact, making them especially useful in situations where extra protection or stability is needed. If your boat’s geometry limits the use of cylindrical fenders, a rectangular design is a practical and effective alternative.
Hauraki Rectangle Inflatable Fenders are built tough using heavy-duty, non-marking PVC with drop-stitch technology. This construction provides a rigid, durable structure that holds its shape while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. The seams are heat and high-frequency welded (no glue used), resulting in a strong, long-lasting join that won’t weaken or degrade over time.
Each fender includes four stainless steel D-rings—two on each long side—securely welded in place to offer flexible attachment options. They're fitted with a standard marine-grade valve, compatible with most inflatable boat pumps or small electric pumps, making inflation quick and simple. When not in use, the fenders can be easily deflated and rolled up for compact storage. Every fender also includes a valve adaptor and two fender ropes.
