Redbreast Moscatel Cask Edition Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey hails from the iconic Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, where traditional pot still distillation meets Iberian influence. This limited release is crafted from a blend of 9 to 11-year-old whiskeys, first matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks before a 16-month finish in Moscatel-seasoned European oak from Málaga, Spain, creating a rare and expressive style.
On the nose and palate, expect vibrant citrus, honeyed stone fruit, floral sweetness, gentle spice, and soft oak wrapped in a silky mouthfeel. Made from malted and unmalted barley and bottled at 46% ABV, it’s best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to unlock its layered sweetness and elegant wine-driven character.
