Ultra Black II RCA Cable
The first of the RCAs in our range to use our new TeCu connector.
Performance Profile
Blue Family Warm and forgiving for systems with a slight edge or for those who like a more smooth laid back presentation. Blue and Ultra Blue are especially good for AV and home cinema
Black Family Smooth, fine detailed and great resolution while actually reducing apparent harshness. Music is presented as a coherent, organic whole, with a jaw-dropping sense of realism and naturalness.
Silver Family Totally uncoloured, acting as a wide open channel sounding unforced, vivid and dynamic with phenomenal resolution, transparency and natural tonal colours. All this while sounding extremely analog and coherent, from the exceptional top end extension to bottom with finely detailed, separated bass notes.
Reviews and User Comments
Stereonet
“Tellurium Q’s new Ultra Black II is something special at the price. It has insight, grip and focus that you usually have to pay a lot more for – allied to an impressive lack of colouration and dramatic dynamics.”
– David Price, Stereonet
Audiophile Magazine Thailand
“Vocals and music are in three dimensions that frees speakers and leaves only sound, mood and atmosphere. The speakers disappeared.”
‘Google Translation’
– Audiophile Magazine Thailand
HiFi Plus
“Adding the Ultra Black II RCA interconnect reinforced this balance and opened up the sound stage, cymbal splashes became more obvious, and guitar notes more pronounced. It’s very much a leading edge cable, but avoids the forwardness that other cables of its ilk tend to introduce. It has a superb sense of immediacy and acoustic instruments like drum kits sound all the more real as a result.
Tellurium Q Ultra Black II is a remarkably coherent and ‘well-timed’ cable”
– Jason Kennedy, HiFi Plus
Image HiFi
“The Tellurium Q Ultra Black cables achieve component status: that is to say, before changing any of your system’s components you should audition these cables first”
– Christian Bayer, Image HiFi.com
Fidelity Magazin
“naturalness , timbres and dynamics of these connectors are so remarkable that my packing and sending back is really very, very difficult – if it even still happens.”
– Frank Neu, fidelity-magazin.de, August 2015
HiFi Pig
“It seems as if the UB [Ultra Black RCA] has such precision with regards to timing that it gives a presentation which is very different to virtually every cable I’ve ever heard, no bloom added decay, colouration or drag”
– HiFi Pig, April 2014
HiFi World
“The first few seconds of play were more than enough to realise that Tellurium Q has got a very special design on its hands.”
– Hi FI World, August 2013
