Hexsoon 40A PDB: Serious Power for Serious Builds

You've graduated from 5-inch park flyers, and now you're building a beast. A rig with chunky motors that laugh at the tiny pads on an all-in-one flight controller. Stop trying to make a board designed for freestyle handle a heavy-lift hexacopter. The Hexsoon 40A PDB is the grown-up power distribution board your ambitious project demands, delivering a monstrous 40A continuous per motor, right here from our UK warehouse.

Why You Want It

This isn't just about tidying up your wiring; it's about reliability when you've got expensive gear in the air. This PDB is engineered on a thick, 4oz copper PCB to handle serious current without breaking a sweat. It provides two rock-solid, short-circuit tolerant BECs: a 5.3V line for your electronics and a 12V line for your FPV system. For builders in the ArduPilot ecosystem, the 5V BEC even shares the same connector definition as The Cube's carrier board, saving you a world of custom cabling headaches. It's the dependable core your pro build deserves.

Features and Highlights

  • Monstrous Current Handling: A true 40A continuous / 50A peak rating for each of the six ESC outputs. It won't just power your big motors; it'll ask for more.
  • Dual, Regulated BECs: Get a stable 5.3V (3A) for your FC and Rx, plus a clean 12V (2A) for your camera and VTX. No more video noise or brownouts.
  • 'The Cube' Friendly: The 5V BEC connector is a drop-in match for The Cube's carrier board, making integration seamless for high-end builds.
  • Smart 12V Output: On 4S-6S LiPo, you get a solid 12V. On 3S, it intelligently provides battery voltage minus 1V, so your gear is never underpowered.

Specifications

  • Input Voltage: 3S-6S LiPo (9-26V)
  • ESC Continuous Current: 40A per output (x6)
  • ESC Peak Current: 50A per output (10s bursts)
  • 5V BEC Output: 5.3V +/- 0.1V @ 3A
  • 12V BEC Output: 12.0V +/- 0.3V @ 2A (Requires 4S+ for regulated 12V)
  • Mounting: 52 x 45.3mm, 3mm holes
  • Dimensions: 57.2 x 50.5 x 5.2mm
  • Weight: 14.5g (Apparently without the "40A"? Look, we don't write the manuals.)

Still Here?

Alright, you're clearly a pro builder if you're dissecting the specs this closely. You know that a solid power distribution board is the foundation of any reliable ArduPilot or heavy-lift drone. This PDB has the amperage, the clean power, and the Cube-compatibility you're looking for. Stop over-thinking it and give your next build the electrical backbone it deserves. Add it to your cart.

Not pregnant yet, but this book was the perfect balance of information and real-life story. It was so relatable and reassuring—I suddenly didn’t feel crazy for all the hours of baby research I’ve been doing. I never felt pressured, just encouraged and entertained while learning so much. Such a refreshing read, you won’t regret getting this one!

Great Buy for First-Time-Mama's
Format: Hardcover
This is my first pregnancy, and I'm very happy I purchased this book. Meghan Trainor will make you laugh and she gets very real with you—it was almost as if I was hanging out with an old friend when I sat down to read. It's a mix of a memoir, a diary, and advice from experts including her personal trainer and her OB/GYN—including exercises by trimester and recipes. She also recommends some products without being sales-y. If you're a first-time-mom (or even if you're not), this is a great buy that's not like other pregnancy books (those can sometimes be information overload in my opinion). This would also be a great gift for a newly pregnant friend. You don't have to be a Meghan Trainor fan to enjoy this book. Book Highlights/Helpful Thoughts - One of my favorite phrases was "influencers are great, but they make pregnancy and labor an aesthetic, and girl, pregnancy is not an aesthetic, it's rough!" - Meghan wanted to give birth vaginally, but due to complications, she had to have a schedule C-Section and she talks about that experience extensively is a way that was helpful. I'm personally doing everything I can to have a natural vaginal birth, but life sometimes has other plans. It was helpful reading her take instead of reading the Reddit horror stories. I now know what to expect in a non-traumatizing way if I were to need a C-section. - Meghan was pregnant during the height of the Covid Pandemic in 2020—so her experiences are based on that. I say this, because she talks a lot about how her husband could not join in at any of her ultrasound appointments and her labor team was limited due to the restrictions. Thankfully appointments are no longer like that.
