Ensure soil is well-drained. Germander can be grown in containers using a well-draining potting mix. 

Growth Habit 

Feed annually in spring with a balanced general-purpose fertilizer diluted to one-fourth strength. It grows 6-18 inches tall with a 1-2 foot spread. In late spring to summer, magenta pink tubular flowers grow in whorls from the leaf axils and are attractive to bees. The leaves are aromatic and shiny with scalloped edges.

Toxicity  

Wall Germander is considered toxic to pets. Deer & rabbit resistant.
