The Lamson Speedster S is a super-high retrieve rate reel built for anglers who need to pick up line fast. The narrower spool prevents line barreling on the retrieve, while the inboard-mounted handle and a larger outer diameter increase pickup with every turn. Pair that with classic Lamson styling and the maintenance-free sealed conical drag system, and the name says the rest.
This generation of the Speedster S uses an enhanced spool machining technique that places material only where it is needed. The result is a reel significantly lighter and higher performing than the version it replaces, without giving up the structural integrity Lamson is known for.
Machined in Idaho from 6061 aluminum bar stock with stainless steel components and a Type II anodized finish.
