The K&N 69-7080-1TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Infiniti G35 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake which is designed to pull in relatively cooler air and dramatically reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of denser air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-7080-1TS cold-air intake consists of a K&N high-flow air filter that mounts behind the driver-side wheel well directing cooler outside air through free-flowing aluminum tubing into a short ram induction tube that delivers high volumes of clean, colder air into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized cone shaped air filter comes with a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap to protect the filter from moisture. The air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This cold air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Snapped bolt
I tried putting it on my n55 from a m235i and it did not fit properly. I was in a rush to try to put it on and thought it was on properly and I thought it did. And I snapped the bolt because the bolt because it was not aligned after I looked at harder I do not recommend for a n55. do not get this cheaply made pos. I recommend getting it from fcp euro where parts will actually fit and not fail.

May not fit correctly or is difficult to fit on.
Would not advise buying. It wouldn’t fit with the o ring nor with the old one, it would only go in with no o ring. So I had to put back my old hinge and o ring. Edit: I had to add coolant to the O ring, along with somewhat forcing/prying it in in order to get it to fit flush.

Quick solution to replace that OEM Plastic Mount in your BMW E90
Effective Upgrade: After installation, I have experienced no leaks, which is a significant improvement for my vehicle.
Quality Material: The aluminum construction feels durable and sturdy, offering a long-lasting solution compared to the original fitting.
Cons:
The installation process was a bit tricky. The holes didn't line up perfectly, making it a challenge to fit. While there was no need for drilling, finding the right angle to fit it required some patience and effort. Wider holes could have made the installation easier. I rate it 4 stars because of that.
Despite the challenging installation, the Aluminum Water Hose Fitting Upgrade is a worthwhile investment for anyone experiencing leaks. The improved performance and durability make it a recommended upgrade for BMW E90 owners.
