The BLVE-AP Series is a boron carbide long venturi nozzle with a full polyurethane jacket and polyurethane threads — the most economical construction in the BLVE range. Designed for use with a 25mm (1") internal diameter blast hose, these nozzles are suited for high-duty surface preparation where aggressive abrasives are the primary media. The boron carbide liner maintains peak blasting performance and optimum air and abrasive consumption for significantly longer intervals than tungsten carbide.
Boron carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide: careful handling is required, and rough handling on active job sites should be avoided.
Key Features
- Full polyurethane jacket and polyurethane threads — most economical construction in the BLVE range
- Long venturi bore
- Boron carbide liner
- Recommended for use with aggressive abrasives such as aluminium oxide
- Thread: 1-1/4" NPSM (polyurethane) Note: Most blasting systems worldwide use 50 mm thread nozzles. Verify compatibility or select a matching nozzle holder/adapter for this thread type.
Available Sizes & Lengths
Available in nozzle sizes #4, #5, #6, #7 and #8, with lengths ranging from 133.4 mm to 219 mm.
