375mg dual-source caffeine with true thermogenic and focus support

Alchemy Labs Smoked is a straightforward high-stim pre-workout that boosts energy right away, keeps your focus steady under stress, and amps up fat loss during intense training. This isn't about pumps—it's all about energy, focus, and burning more. It starts with 3.2g beta-alanine, the full dose that builds up carnosine in your muscles—carnosine fights the acid burn from tough workouts. Then it adds 375mg caffeine from two sources for quick and lasting energy, plus nootropics and real thermogenics that beat generic energy mixes.

The star here is beta-alanine at 3,200mg, hitting the proven daily dose to boost muscle carnosine. Carnosine neutralizes the hydrogen ions that cause that deep burn in high-rep sets, sprints, or dense training. It's backed by solid research for high-intensity work, but it shines after consistent use. Day one, you might feel the tingles. After 2-4 weeks, you'll push harder before fatigue hits.

For your head game and drive, it's got 1,500mg L-tyrosine, 150mg L-theanine, 50mg Mucuna pruriens extract with 98% L-DOPA, and 200mcg huperzine A 1%. Tyrosine feeds your brain's stress chemicals like dopamine and norepinephrine, helping you stay sharp when training's brutal, calories are low, or you're wiped out. Theanine calms the stim buzz for cleaner focus with caffeine. Mucuna gives a direct mood and motivation boost from L-DOPA. Huperzine A slows acetylcholine break

Alchemy Smoked Pre by Alchemy Labs contains 150mg Vitamin C, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine — that's the full dose backed by studies to build muscle carnosine, which fights the acid burn in tough sets, circuits, and sprints so you can keep going.
  • 375mg Total Caffeine from Two Sources — 300mg anhydrous hits quick for that instant energy, and 100mg Infinergy™ keeps it going steady. Way better than one-shot stims that crash early.
  • 1,500mg L-Tyrosine — a solid amount to keep your mind sharp under stress. It's the building block for dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, perfect for a tough thermogenic pre.
  • 150mg L-Theanine — enough to smooth out the caffeine ride, making your alertness feel focused instead of all over the place.
  • 2.5mg Rauwolscine — a real dose for thermogenesis, blocking receptors to crank up norepinephrine and make fasted or cutting sessions feel way more intense.
  • 15mg Capsiatra® Dihydrocapsiate — hits the studied level for this patented capsinoid that boosts heat and fat burning via TRPV1 without needing extra stims.
  • 100mg Infinergy™ Di-Caffeine Malate — this bonded form gives a smoother, longer energy release than straight anhydrous, and it's not just for show.
  • 50mg Mucuna Pruriens Extract at 98% L-DOPA — concentrated to help with motivation and drive. The high standardization makes this small dose count more than basic versions.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned lifters cutting who want aggressive, sharp sessions. 375mg caffeine, rauwolscine, Capsiatra® keep intensity high when calories drop and natural energy lags.
  • Bodybuilders or physique folks doing high-volume with short rests. 3.2g beta-alanine powers repeats, tyrosine/theanine/huperzine keep focus solid through long hauls.
  • Early morning crew needing a wake-up for fasted cardio or lifts. Anhydrous hits fast, Infinergy™ sustains better than basic caffeine.
  • High-stim vets past 150-250mg pres. This 375mg plus 2.5mg rauwolscine is for those who handle it well.
  • Folks training for body comp changes. Capsiatra® boosts heat via TRPV1, rauwolscine amps norepinephrine for fat-focused workouts.
  • Lifters wanting driven focus, not jitters. 1,500mg tyrosine, 150mg theanine, 50mg mucuna, huperzine A hit from all angles.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 8-12 oz cold water 20-30 minutes pre-workout. Gives stims, nootropics, and thermogenics time to kick in. New to high stims? Half scoop first—375mg caffeine plus 2.5mg rauwolscine is no joke. Shake it in a bottle for best mix. Take on empty or light stomach for strongest feel; heavy food slows it. Skip extra burners, yohimbine, or big coffee unless tracking total stims. Pairs great with creatine, electrolytes intra, protein post. Use training days or daily for beta-alanine. Cycle off sometimes to reset tolerance. Store sealed, cool, dry for freshness.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes: Mostly just the taste and settling, plus that high-stim buzz anticipation. 10-20 minutes: Anhydrous caffeine ramps up, beta tingles might hit, and you feel locked in with warming thermogenesis. 20-40 minutes: Peak time—energy, drive, focus align, rauwolscine and Capsiatra® make it sweaty hot. 40-90 minutes: Infinergy™ sustains it better than single caffeine, depending on your tolerance and if you ate. Days 1-7: Stims and focus pop right away, beta's loading. Weeks 2-4: Carnosine builds, tough reps feel easier to repeat. Watch tolerance—too often, and the kick dulls, so manage stims.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Alchemy Labs Smoked per scoop?

One scoop delivers 300mg caffeine anhydrous plus 100mg Infinergy™ di-caffeine malate. Because di-caffeine malate yields about 73% caffeine, total caffeine comes out to roughly 375mg per serving, which places Smoked firmly in high-stim territory.

Is Alchemy Labs Smoked a pump pre-workout?

No. This formula is built around thermogenesis, stimulant energy, focus, and endurance support from 3.2g beta-alanine. It does not include the hallmark pump ingredients like high-dose citrulline or nitrates, so the experience is more heat, urgency, and drive than vasodilation and fullness.

Why does Smoked use both caffeine anhydrous and Infinergy™?

The two forms are there to shape the energy curve. Caffeine anhydrous hits quickly for immediate stimulation, while Infinergy™ di-caffeine malate is designed to absorb more gradually and feel more sustained, helping reduce the abrupt drop that single-source caffeine formulas can produce.

What does the 3,200mg beta-alanine actually do?

Beta-alanine raises muscle carnosine over time, and carnosine helps buffer the acid buildup that drives muscular burn during hard training. The 3.2g dose is the standard evidence-based daily amount, so this is not a token inclusion.

Is the 2.5mg rauwolscine dose strong?

Yes. Rauwolscine is a potent alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist, and 2.5mg is above the commonly cited 0.75-1.5mg range. For experienced users this can be a major advantage during cutting or fasted training, but for sensitive users it can feel intense.

Can I take Smoked fasted?

Yes, and many experienced users prefer it that way because the stimulant and thermogenic effects often feel stronger on an emptier stomach. Just understand that fasted use can also make the rauwolscine and caffeine combination feel more aggressive.

Why is L-theanine included in a thermogenic pre-workout?

Because more stimulation is not always better stimulation. L-theanine helps smooth the edge of caffeine by promoting relaxed alertness, which can make focus feel cleaner and less jittery even when total caffeine is high.

Will Smoked make me tingle?

Probably. The formula contains 3.2g beta-alanine, and many users feel the classic temporary skin tingling called paresthesia. It is harmless and does not indicate an allergy; it is simply a common sensory effect of beta-alanine.

Should beginners use a full scoop?

No. If you are new to strong pre-workouts, start with 1/2 scoop to assess tolerance because 375mg caffeine plus 2.5mg rauwolscine is more intense than entry-level formulas. A full scoop is better reserved for established high-stim users.

Can I stack Smoked with other fat burners?

Usually not a good idea. Smoked already includes high total caffeine, rauwolscine, and Capsiatra®, so adding another stimulant-based fat burner can quickly push the experience from productive to excessive.

Great privacy room divider
Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel, Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel
I got this room divider for our game room that shares the garage/laundry room, to separate the spaces. I was happy that it was relatively easy to put together in less than an hour with nothing more than a screwdriver (provided) although I used a small handheld drill. The instructions were pretty straightforward and easy to understand as everything was labeled. I have 2 small grandkids at home running around while I put this together so my timeline to completion might be longer than others. It recommends 2 people to assemble, but I was able to complete alone in about 40 minutes total and as I said I used a small handheld drill, (although it does come with a small Philips screwdriver) which is the only tool you need for assembly. The first two panels took me about 20 minutes but the other 4 were simple repeats after the initial 2. After all 6 panels were assembled the plastic clips to piece them together were literally a "SNAP" to put on. The poles are made of metal and the panels are made of a very sturdy almost canvas like fabric. When held up to the light not a lot shined through so very good for privacy. You can snap them together in sections and have 2 separate panels of 3 or what ever configuration you want. They are easy to move and bend around furniture or other obstacles, also fold flat together if you need to put them aside for storage. This worked out just as we had planned, very easy to move around when needed and I am very happy with this product. I loved how simple it was to put together, easy instructions, and the durability and functionality of it.

Decent for the price. Instructions suck but most people should be able to figure it out. More below.
Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel, Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel
SUMMARY: 3 stars from me because it's firmly average. It's fine for the price. Assembly and materials are alright but I can see some caveats depending on your circumstances. Assembly instructions do a subpar job of pointing out some details. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: Maybe it's because I'm autistic and/or building model kits and assembling stuff is my jam, but I honestly thought people were exaggerating when they were complaining about the instructions and I'd be able to flex my ~superior assembly skills.~ I was wrong! These instructions genuinely suck, and whoever is responsible for making them should be ashamed. The instructions do a poor job of calling out some details regarding orientation of parts, and some of the images do not actually match the physical parts. For example, it does not really outline the assembly of the end panels clearly, and I can see someone accidentally using the wrong poles. I've drawn over a photo to show what you should do to try and make it clearer. Additionally, the manual shows a flathead screw for bolting the feet into position, but the actual screw is not a flathead. It also does not point out the counterbore, so if you aren't paying attention you may put the foot pads onto the wrong side of the foot. It's also missing the fact that you need to use another one of the plastic pieces when you finish assembling a panel. ACTUAL ASSEMBLY & MATERIALS: To their credit, all of my bags were clearly labeled. The assembly process wasn't difficult. It's mostly just tedious and requires a fair amount of space. I was able to assemble it by myself without any real difficulty. However, the way it's assembled means two things. One, the fabric parts aren't removable without disassembly. So if you want to use this in an environment where they would require cleaning, I would seriously recommend looking for another option. Or, you could buy this just to use the frame pieces and then somehow buy or make your own fabric pieces designed to be removable with velcro or something. Two, because of the materials I really don't have a lot of faith in this thing surviving disassembly and reassembly. Like a lot of sorta-cheap-but-convenient furniture, it uses those spring-button connections and plastic inserts with self-tapping screws. Those things are not really meant to be disassembled and rethreaded. It also relies a lot on the tension of the poles and the fabric to keep everything rigid and squared, which I think puts a lot of pressure on the aforementioned buttons, plastic inserts, and the hollow metal rods. So I feel like that will also cause issues with disassembly and reassembly. Basically once this thing is assembled, it's not really meant to be disassembled. The best you can do is spot-clean the fabric if you need to. Speaking of the fabric, I didn't see any labels on them or anything in the manual that says what they are, but they feel like some kind of polyester. They generate static electricity pretty easily, and pet hair and debris sticks easily. So that's another downside of them not being easily removable. For the most part it does seem pretty stable. The poles seem to be pretty uniform in length so they're all making contact with my floor. Obviously this isn't structural so it shouldn't be supporting anything, but the two main feet seem to be doing fine with keeping this thing upright. CLOSING THOUGHTS: Really, it's fine for what it is, but it could be better in a lot of little ways and the substandard quality of the instructions just seems unprofessional to me, which is why I'm being so harsh with my rating. Depending on your needs and environment you may want to consider a different option. Preferably one that is made to be disassembled with better materials, and/or one with fabric pieces made to be removed easily.

Not as it seems
Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel
these are awful... Each individual panel is fine, but when you put it together it can barely stand up, and the clips that hold it together keep popping off. Steer clear of this item.
