500mg Beta Sitosterol in a focused pine phytosterol complex

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Beta Sitosterol is a straightforward phytosterol supplement focused on one thing: getting you a good daily dose of beta-sitosterol in an easy tablet, backed by a mix of pine phytosterols that work together like they do in nature. This isn't some hype product, and that's the beauty of it. It's made for everyday use by folks looking for better prostate comfort and pee flow, plus the bonus of helping with cholesterol and lipid levels.

The main ingredient is beta-sitosterol at 500mg per tablet. That's what most people are after in this category. Beta-sitosterol is a plant sterol that looks a lot like cholesterol, which is why it shines in two big areas. In your gut, phytosterols push out dietary cholesterol from getting absorbed. For men's health, it's been looked at for easing urinary issues from an enlarged prostate—think better flow and fewer symptoms, without actually shrinking the prostate. In real life, that means easier peeing, stronger stream, and less trips to the bathroom over time. With 500mg per tablet and taking it multiple times a day, you hit a dose that makes sense for prostate support and builds to a strong daily total.

The rest of the phytosterol mix counts too. You get beta sitostanol at 72mg, campesterol at 48mg, campestanol at 9mg, stigmastanol at 6mg, and stigmasterol at 5mg to round out the sterol team. These are similar to cholesterol and help with the overall effect in your gut. For anyone watching lipids, a mixed sterol setup just makes sense.

Hi-Tech Beta Sitosterol by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals contains 715mg Beta Sitosterol/Pine Phytosterol Complex, a effective dose for health and performance.

Key Highlights

  • 500mg beta-sitosterol per tablet — this is the dose that really counts here. It puts you in a solid range for prostate and urinary support, and lets you build a strong daily total when you take it throughout the day.
  • 715mg total beta sitosterol/pine phytosterol complex — no skimpy amounts here. This full mix gives you more real-world punch than just one isolated sterol, since cholesterol stuff happens in a busy gut environment.
  • Includes beta sitostanol, campesterol, campestanol, stigmastanol, and stigmasterol — these aren't just for show. They're related phytosterols and stanols that help compete with cholesterol absorption in your gut.
  • Made for daily prostate support, not quick fixes — beta-sitosterol is a go-to for better urinary comfort and flow. You feel the benefits build over time with steady use, which is how good supplements should work.
  • Great for folks watching cholesterol — phytosterols cut down on cholesterol absorption by bumping it out of the way in your gut. So this fits right into your everyday plan for better lipid levels.
  • Clear on the main ingredient — lots of sterol products just say 'plant sterols' without details. This one spells out the full complex and hits you with 500mg beta-sitosterol per tablet, which is why smart buyers grab it.
  • Tablet form makes it easy to stick with — let's be real, consistency wins. Stuff like beta-sitosterol needs daily use, so a simple one-tablet serving helps you keep at it long-term.
  • No stims, stacks easy — zero caffeine, no heat, no jitters. Throw it in with basics like fish oil, vitamin D, magnesium, or protein without messing up your routine.

Who Is This For?

  • Guys over 40 tracking urinary flow, night bathroom runs, and prostate comfort. The 500mg beta-sitosterol per tablet gives a real dose for steady use, with the phytosterol mix adding solid backup beyond a plain single-ingredient pill.
  • Folks into cholesterol support who know phytosterols cut absorption in the gut. This gives an easy tablet way to boost plant sterol intake without just relying on special foods.
  • Supplement pros who like targeted products over weak 'men's wellness' mixes with random tiny doses. This nails one thing: big beta-sitosterol in a clear phytosterol complex.
  • Active guys who lift or stay busy but choose supplements based on labs, recovery, and real routines, not buzz. It matches that vibe— no stims, practical, built for long-term.
  • Users who've tried low-dose saw palmetto stuff and want straight phytosterol action. Beta-sitosterol has real backing for urinary support, and this dose delivers.
  • People stacking men's health with omega-3s, vitamin D, magnesium, and a focused prostate ingredient. This fits easy—targeted, simple dose, no extras.

How to Use

Take 1 tablet with a meal, and for the usual setup, do it multiple times a day with meals instead of all together. Spreading it fits because phytosterols act in your gut and work best with food. It's a tablet, so just swallow with water—no mixing, no shaker, no gym timing. If you're new or have a touchy gut, start with 1 a day for a bit, then ramp up to check tolerance. With meals is better than empty stomach since food helps sterols compete with cholesterol.

This stacks smooth with omega-3 fish oil, fiber, magnesium, vitamin D, and core health stuff. No cycling needed; consistent use is key. Store in a cool, dry spot with the lid tight, because steady habits and freshness count more than any pre-workout rush.

What to Expect

Day 1 is chill, no big deal. No energy kick or quick feel because beta-sitosterol works through your gut and longer paths, not nerves. First week, focus on sticking to it: tablets with meals, building the habit. By weeks 2-4, check urinary comfort, flow, and night routine for changes, not some buzz. For cholesterol use, it's about steady diet and later bloodwork, not daily vibes. This stuff is low-key on purpose, which fits a targeted health supplement.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much beta-sitosterol is in each tablet of Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Beta Sitosterol?

Each tablet provides 500mg of beta-sitosterol within a 715mg beta sitosterol/pine phytosterol complex. The label also includes smaller amounts of related sterols and stanols such as beta sitostanol, campesterol, campestanol, stigmastanol, and stigmasterol.

What is this product mainly used for?

This product is mainly used for prostate-related urinary support and as part of a cholesterol-conscious wellness routine. Beta-sitosterol is one of the best-known plant sterols for lower urinary tract symptom support, and phytosterols as a class are also studied for reducing cholesterol absorption in the gut.

Is 500mg beta-sitosterol per tablet a meaningful dose?

Yes. For prostate-focused supplementation, 500mg per tablet is a serious standalone dose, especially when used multiple times daily. For cholesterol-related goals, phytosterols are typically most effective at higher total daily intake levels, so consistency and total daily dosing matter.

How should I take Hi-Tech Beta Sitosterol for best results?

Take it with meals rather than on an empty stomach. That timing matters because phytosterols work in the digestive tract by competing with cholesterol absorption, and many users spread intake across multiple meals to reach a stronger total daily amount.

Will I feel this product right away?

No, and that is normal. This is not a stimulant or nootropic, so there is no immediate rush, energy, or mood effect; the benefit pattern is gradual and usually evaluated over 2-4 weeks of consistent use.

Does this formula contain a proprietary blend?

No. The label discloses a 715mg phytosterol complex and lists the major sterol components, including 500mg beta-sitosterol. The only minor transparency limitation is that ergostanol is included without a specified amount.

Can I stack this with fish oil or other heart-health supplements?

Yes. This product pairs well with omega-3 fish oil, soluble fiber, and other cardiovascular-support supplements because the mechanisms are complementary rather than redundant. Fish oil works primarily through triglyceride and inflammatory pathways, while phytosterols reduce cholesterol absorption in the gut.

Is this better for prostate support or cholesterol support?

It is especially strong for prostate-focused use because 500mg beta-sitosterol per tablet is meaningful and can be built into a robust daily intake. It is also relevant for cholesterol-conscious users, though lipid-focused phytosterol protocols often depend heavily on total daily intake and diet quality.

Are there any stimulants in this product?

No. Despite some metadata noise that sometimes appears in supplement databases, this formula is stim-free and contains no caffeine or thermogenic ingredients.

Who should not use concentrated plant sterol supplements like this?

People with sitosterolemia should not use this product. Anyone on prescription lipid-lowering therapy, pregnant or nursing, or dealing with significant urinary symptoms should also consult a healthcare professional before use.

TOO SMALL
Size: Medium, Color: Blue
Nice socks, but they are way too small. Says they fit size 6 - 10. I kept 3 ( I wear size 8) and gave 3 to my daughter (size 8.5). We both agreed that they were just too small.

Excellent all-poly athletic socks for general lifting and HIIT.
Size: Medium, Color: Black/White/Grey
***These are NOT “low” -cut socks as the description in the title states. These are actually “quarter”-cut socks as clearly visible in the picture of the sock itself. “Low” -cut socks are shorter than this height but still visible with a shoe. Also, on the actual UA package of these socks, it clearly states these are QUARTER cut socks. My review: Gave these UA Performance Tech socks (UAPT) 5 stars since they’re very good but in all reality not the best socks I’ve ever had for lifting and HIIT workouts. That title goes to Nike Dri-Fit MAX socks (DFM)….but these socks are really good. Like Nike’s DFM’s, these UAPT socks come in sizes, halleluah (M, L, and XL). The idea that most athletic sock are sized 6-12 and should therefore fit everyone perfectly is absolutely ridiculous. Your shoes come in whole and half sizes…so socks should at the very least be sized like these UAPT’s and Nike DFM’s…in S/M/L or in this case, M/L/XL. I wear a men’s size 8 shoe and the M (medium) size in these socks was a perfect fit; true to size. Also, UAPT socks are ALL polyester with Spandex which is ideal and 100% that which you want for athletic socks: wicking with stretch. Cotton socks are the absolute worst thing you could wear to the gym since they’re sponges for sweat and therefore get wet and heavy, cause blisters, tend to stink, stick to skin, etc… IF you prefer cotton socks for athletics, then you don’t understand how performance fabrics work in athletics and training. You do NOT want cotton in your athletic apparel. You want your fabrics that wick sweat away; NOT soak up sweat and hold onto it. Also, the flexibility and stretch of the foot and ankle parts of the sock were both just right. Snug but not too tight. Wicking is perfect, too. Already worn during two 3 1/2 hour workouts and my feet stayed as dry as a desert. When looking for UA athletic socks on Amazon, I surprisingly continued to find UA “athletic” socks made with mostly cotton which completely surprised me because a serious athletic company should produce an abundance of performance-level socks… i.e. all-poly socks. Thank goodness I finally came across these UA all-poly Performance Techs. The only drawback to these UAPT’s…and it’s a minor drawback…is that unlike Nike DFM’s, these do not come in L & R (left and rights) to specifically match the individual foot shape. Nike DFM socks come in L and R which sets them apart from all other athletic socks…and yet I don’t like supporting a massive monopolistic athletic apparel company like Nike, but they’re the only one that makes THE best athletic sock. Nonetheless, these UAPT’s are perfect workout/HIIT/lifting socks for the bundle value price of six pair and three colors. If you’re looking to match your new UA or Rock shoes with the appropriate UA athletic sock, then here you go. I chose the black/white/gray mix bundle since I have new pairs of a black and a white version of the same UA-Rock shoe. These UAPT socks are medium thickness so they didn’t take up an exorbitant amount of room in my shoes but they’re thick enough to prevent blisters and provide cushion. Overall they’re very comfortable, hold a good stretch, hold their shape, and seem to be durable but only time will tell. And since we’re on the black and white sock subject, I couldn’t resist: I read a shoe review about someone angered that his new UA/Rock black shoes (obviously bought for casual wear in lieu of gym use) staining his white cotton socks. First of all, never ever wear white socks (much less cotton white socks) with black athletic shoes! The possibility of staining is always there and the appearance just doesn’t work. However, you can get away with black socks with white shoes in some cases…but never white socks with black shoes. Why? Who knows? It’s just one of those unwritten rules of the gym. And no, I didn’t make the rules…so don’t blame the messenger. LOL!
