This short water pump is designed to reduce the overall length of your small block engine by 1.5 inches for serpentine conversions replaces part numberM-8501-E351S. It is designed for use with factory alternators, power steering brackets, and CVF racing brackets. Made with aircraft quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this pump is designed to provide a perfect fit for your Ford small block engines. It is cut using CNC machining, which provides additional accuracy and a more sturdy construction. This process is also faster and more cost effective, making this short water pump an incredibly affordable option. All these procedures and materials come together to create a 30% smoother Serpentine System.

Does not fit BMW F22 2 Series. The housing for the cabin air filter is curved and the OEM cabin filter is flexible like an accordion. This filter has the correct dimensions but it does not flex so it will not fit the housing properly. You MIGHT be able to jam it in but not without damaging the filter and at that point it would be practically useless. Buy one that is OEM spec and confirm it can flex for proper fit.

As others have said, the driver's side grill lacks a cut out where the hood latch pull handle swings out when you need to lift the hood (compare the driver's side grill with the existing grill to see location and size of the cut out). I was able to cut an opening within 10 minutes and I haven't had any problems opening the hood since the installation.

The fitment isn't perfect like the OEM grilles, but overall I was satisfied. These are just slightly smaller than the originals so there is a little play once installed. No need to modify the LH side grille for clearance to the hood latch though as other reviews mention. It looks like the design has been revised to address that problem. I was impressed with the paint finish and there weren't any noticeable blemishes like dust or dirt in the paint. These are probably the best and cheapest gloss black kidney grilles for E46 that are currently available. OEM grilles w/ gloss black are basically discontinued so we're all stuck with aftermarket if you want the gloss black shadowline look.
