Shared with expert local hosts and fellow food lovers, this promises to be a memorable Parisian escape filled with flavor, creativity and discovery.

Tuesday, April 20: Arrival Paris-Orientation

Accompanied by an expert guide you will explore medieval Paris as introduction and reorientation to the city. This tour will offer a glimpse into Parisian  life, blending history, culture, and everyday charm. Stroll through lively cafés and  bakeries to discover the neighborhood’s rich gastronomic heritage. Along the way, admire the nearby Notre-Dame Cathedral (external view) and its iconic architecture.  Finally, pass by the historic Sorbonne University, a symbol of Paris’s intellectual legacy.  Day 1 ends with a welcome dinner with an opportunity to meet the chef.

Wednesday, April 21, Day 2: The Art & Flavours of Paris

We will depart in the morning on foot in small group to explore the gourmet delights of the St. Germain District, exploring the tiniest and most special artisan shops in this gastronomically-gifted quarter. We will sample iconic breads from a world-famous bakery, select perfectly aged cheeses from a specialist fromagerie in a historic covered market, and indulge in rich chocolate and show-stopping pâtisserie from a master pastry chef.

The afternoon includes a guided visit to Musée D’Orsay. This beautiful museum exhibits world-class art in an unforgettable setting, and focuses on the beloved period of 19th to 20th century art. It is packed with Impressionist and Post-Impressionist highlights synonymous with Paris, including Monet, van Gogh and Renoir. If the Louvre Museum is about scale and history, the Musée d’Orsay is about beauty, emotion, and experience - making it our choice for this trip! Day 2 afternoon and evening at your leisure to explore and dine on your own.

Thursday, April 22, Day 3: Champagne Daytrip
We will depart with a private guide on a coach on a two-hour scenic route road trip to the  Champagne region where the vines cover 100,000 acres and produce more than 300 million bottles per year. We will learn and understand why this sparkling wine is so unique. A complete explanation of the different processes, from the work in the vineyard, the first alcoholic fermentation up to the bottling, will unveil the secrets of this magical beverage.

The tour includes visits to Champagne Joseph Desruet where we will enjoy lunch, and then we're off to tour Moët & Chandon in Épernay. These two visits offer a contrast between a small, independent producer and a large, world-renowned champagne house. Arrival back at the hotel is at approximately 6pm, and the evening is free for exploring and dining.

Friday, April 23, Day 4: A Celebration of the Senses

Culinary travel with Red Stick Spice wouldn’t be complete without at cooking class. On day 4, we will head out to a croissant and pastry cooking class where we will learn all about the history of the iconic pastry, as well as how to fold and make our own croissant dough. Throughout the morning we will work in pairs to make an assortment of breakfast pastries including croissants, pains au chocolate, pains Suisse, and even pains aux raisins. Lunchtime is at your leisure, and our guide will have plenty of suggestions for eateries and shopping.

After lunch, we will gather and depart on foot to a perfume shop where we will enjoy a workshop creating your own perfume. Because taste is deeply connected to smell, learning to refine your nose unlocks a new dimension of appreciation for food and fragrance alike. The workshop begins with an introduction to the history of perfumery and the main olfactory families. You will choose your preferred base, middle and top notes building a fragrance in a similar way to layering flavours in cooking. At the end of the session, everyone leaves with a 30 ml bottle of their unique creation.

The day ends in the Marais district with a lovely selection of boutiques to explore at your leisure. We will provide shopping hints and tips! Dinner is on your own. This evening includes an optional Sainte Chapelle concert. (tickets are an additional fee.)

Saturday, April 24, Day 5: Antiques & Free Time
Day 5 has us splitting into two groups, one will visit the Antiques market in the morning, and the other in the afternoon. When not with the guide, the remainder of the day is yours.

Each group will visit an antiques market  with shopping and antiques specialist  Riad Kneife. Paris is home to some of the largest antiques markets in the world which can be overwhelming, but Riad will lead you to off the beaten path shops and help you unearth rare gems and hidden treasures. His expertise is invaluable in navigating the hundreds of market stalls and explaining how to barter with zealous vendors. Evening dinner on your own.

Sunday, April 25, Day 6: The Belle Epoque & Finale Lunch

We will depart as a group, via private transfer, to the top of Montmartre where we spend the finale morning together with novelist and writer, Lily Heise, and journey back to the thrilling Belle Epoque on a tour around Montmartre and Pigalle. Lasting from 1870 to 1914, the "Beautiful Era" was a time of living life to its fullest, and in Paris this was done in the Montmartre area. A former village in the north of the city, Montmartre, and its southern edge bordering Pigalle, attracted artists and eccentrics during the Belle Epoque leading to the area becoming the entertain zone of the city. We'll see the favourite haunts of innovative artists like Picasso, van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec, learn the real history of the Moulin Rouge and end at a glamorous former Maison Close, a Belle Epoque brothel-turned-stylish hotel. In this lavish setting, we'll sample a custom cocktail designed especially for us and enjoy our finale lunch of the tour.

The remainder of the day and evening are yours to explore with plenty of time for packing prior to departure.

Monday, April 26, Day 7: Departure

Airport transfer to Paris Airport are included. Departure flight from Paris are not included.

Amazing Jewelry Travel Case
I bought this jewelry case for traveling on a cruise and I absolutely LOVE IT! When I purchased it I didn’t know if it would actually fit all the jewelry I wanted to bring but this box definitely impressed me! It fit all my regular jewelry plus more bc you know us woman love to coordinate with our outfits lol the case/box is sturdy! It didn’t break or even dent throughout my travels. It comes with different pieces to help organize and separate jewelry but it is removable if needed which I had to do bc one of my necklaces is really big. The case fit perfectly in my carry on luggage and didn’t take up much room at all which helped me a lot. I got the black case and I just love how simple and sleek it looks. This is definitely a must have if you need to travel with jewelry and are concerned about things getting damaged, this case keeps them safe and it’s definitely a great value for your money!

Great value, great product!
I use this as a home jewelry box - I don't wear a lot of jewelry, so it fits my needs perfectly. Its pretty lightweight and would be good for travels as well. The outside is leather-like and seems to be waterproof so far. I use the first layer for jewelery and second layer to store my hairclips and pins. I've had it for a few months and it seems to be great quality and durable! Definitely a good value as well because I've seen similar jewelry boxes sold at popular retail stores for over $30.

Lovely Slate Gray Jewelry Box
I just received this Slate Gray jewelry box. It's really quite lovely and just the right size for my granddaughter's vanity. I'm really excited about giving it to her, for her 12th Birthday, to hold her better jewelry. It's so nice I'm going to order another one for my other Granddaughter's Birthday.
