Efforts were made to include historical music previously unpublished in conservatory publications, music from Canada’s diverse regions and cultures, music written by forgotten women and BIPOC composers as well as new music written by Canadian composers specifically for this publication. Additional music from our expanding repertoire lists as well as exam requirements are only found through our exam syllabi online at conservatorycanada.ca.
The grading of Conservatory Canada examinations are designed such that students are encouraged to learn many pieces at each Grade level to become well-rounded enough in their skills to later succeed in the advanced levels.
