The B-52F Stratofortress has arrived at JET EYES! The Fs were built in much smaller numbers than the Gs, and were the last of the big tail B-52s. 

The B-52:

Originally designed to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War deterrence, the B-52 Stratofortress is an American long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber that first took flight in 1952. 

Powered by eight Pratt & Whitney J57-P-43WB turbojet engines, the B-52 can carry up to 70,000 pounds of ordnance, including both nuclear and precision-guided conventional weapons. With a cruising speed of 509 mph and a combat range of approximately 8,800 miles, it is one of the most versatile and enduring military aircraft in history.  

Today, the B-52 remains a cornerstone of the United States' global strike capability and has evolved to perform a variety of roles over the decades, adapting to changing threats and technologies and is the longest-serving combat aircraft in the world.

The tags:

Like our B-52G “Special Delivery II” tags, our B-52F tags were cut from a single co-pilot escape hatch. The hatch was removed from B-52F 57-0046. This hatch was in much better condition than the first escape hatch tag, and the tags turned out super nice. 

Our B-52F tags are offered in 4 variants: Exterior Green, Green Rivets, Exterior Stencil, and Interior Stencil. 

The Exterior Green tags are solid tags cut from the exterior skin of the escape hatch. The Green Rivets tags were also cut from exterior skin but feature rivet holes. The Exterior Stencil are tags cut from exterior skin that feature elements of exterior black stenciling. 

The Interior Stencil tags were cut from the “57-046” and “CO-PILOT” stenciling on the inside walls of the escape hatch. These tags are the thickest of the bunch and feature the most striking stenciling. 

There are very limited quantities of all stenciled B-52 tags and B-52F Air Drops.
